Eye Opener
Great app
Didn’t work
Ready to delete
It’s just okay and kinda glitchy
It works well
What am I paying for?
I personally don’t like the widgets that turn your apps into a list. It has made it very difficult for me to find anything on my phone. I could spend a significant amount of time rearranging apps to make them more accessible but then it’s more time on my phone. Also, some apps redirect through the widget/shortcut before opening which is annoying. An example is Safari.
I thought this would be a game changer but after using it for over a month, I will probably get rid of the widgets and go back to color. Honestly, the black and white Home Screen doesn’t make that big of a difference if the apps themselves are full color.
It’s a good idea in theory but, for me, not that great in practice.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. Regarding the shortcut app popping up, some apps can be opened directly while others require opening via the shortcut app. That's an iOS limitation that we cannot change on our end. However, we have taken your feedback into consideration. Moreover, the minimalist phone app is much more than a widget - it has several features to reduce the screen time - such as in-app time reminder, mindful launch delay, app blocking etc. While the icon free concept does require the use of widgets it is a one time setup that helps with visual noise and clutter. All of these features together help in better screen time control & well being. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or suggestions for improvements at hello@care.minimalistphone.com. We would love to hear from you. Your minimalist phone team!
How to disable
Didn’t Purchase
It was looking great up until the pressure tactic of suggesting the hours per day savings would equal greater productivity in monetary terms based on a 30 day work month that.
It’s disingenuous and pressures those with ADHD into something which they may not want. Further, having a free trial, cancel any time is equally bad for ADHDers as guess what - bad at remembering to do things is pretty much the whole ball game.
Jog on.
Concept is good but not strict enough
Beware
Actually works
Not what it looks like

Hi! Thank you for your valuable feedback and suggestions. Your input is crucial as we gather insights for future developments and features. While we understand that the initial setup is a bit more tedious due to iOS not support launchers, it is well worth it. What's more is that it is only a one-time thing which is going to help you save a significant amount of time once its there. If you have any questions or further thoughts, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@care.minimalistphone.com. Your minimalist phone team!
It will help it only if you don’t have a Second Phone or you can access your social media
Does the work.
It does the work, but not as finished as it could have been
Awesome
Alright, I’m ready to review
After using this on Android and backing on kick starter for an iOS release, the original product was meh.. mainly down to iOS restrictions. After a few updates, I have given this app a go and the team have done a wicked job at hiding the stupid Liquid Glass outlines etc that no one asked Apple for. Happy to say this app is worth its wait in gold. Nicely done!
Better than Opal
