How it works 1. Create your account: Sign up with your phone number and build your profile. Verify with a college email to unlock college groups (or any generic email) to set up location-based groups. 2. Build your group: Create a group and invite friends who are already on Mink. Invite people straight from your contacts — only friends who have joined the app can be added. 3. Discover other groups Browse groups nearby. When your group finds one you’re interested in, like them to show you’re open to connecting. 4. Vote together Liking a group sends it to your group’s voting queue. Every member votes yes or no — it only moves forward when 50% of both groups agree. 5. Start chatting When both groups reach threshold, it’s a match. A group chat opens so everyone can talk, plan hangouts, and grow your community together.
