Minu is a note-taker for the meetings you are physically in. Put the phone on the table, press record, and get back a summary, the decisions, action items with owners and due dates, risks and open questions — in a form you can edit lightly and send.
CONSENT IS THE FIRST STEP, NOT A SETTING
Republic Act 4200 is all-party consent: recording a private conversation without everyone's authorisation is a criminal offence in the Philippines, and the Supreme Court has held that taking part in the conversation is no defence (Ramirez v. CA, G.R. 93833).
Minu is built around that. It gives you a notice to read aloud, and then each person says their name and agrees — inside the recording itself, which is where that evidence belongs. A refusal deletes the recording. While the microphone is open a red edge runs along the top and bottom of the screen, so everyone across the table can see it is still recording without having to ask.
EVERY NOTE POINTS AT THE SECOND IT CAME FROM
Tap a line and the player opens two seconds early and plays that moment, showing the raw transcript around it rather than the note again — you are checking the note against the source. When the model cannot tell where a line came from, it says nothing instead of approximating. A citation that plays the wrong moment is worse than no citation, because somebody will check it.
BUILT FOR HOW MEETINGS HERE ACTUALLY SOUND
English, Tagalog, or both in the same sentence. Minu is told to leave it as it was said rather than smooth it out.
WHAT YOU GET
• Summary, decisions, action items with owners and due dates, risks, open questions
• Mark a moment while the meeting is running — your markers sit above everything the model wrote
• Search inside the meeting you are reading
• Promote any line of the transcript into a note
• Edit anything: the original generation is kept, never overwritten
• Export to PDF, Markdown or plain text, or share straight into any app
• A library of past meetings, on the device
WHAT IT CANNOT DO, SAID PLAINLY
Minu cannot record Zoom, Google Meet or Teams. iOS gives no app a way to capture another app's audio. Minu is for the meeting in the room — phone on the table.
PRIVACY
Recordings and notes live on your phone. Audio sent for transcription is deleted immediately afterwards. You can set audio to expire automatically, and the part of the recording that holds everyone's spoken consent is never removed by that policy.
TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION
60 minutes free, once. After that ₱299 a month for roughly 20 hours of processing. Recording itself is never blocked by your balance — everyone in the room has just agreed out loud inside that audio, and cutting them off over a meter would be the wrong thing to do. The charge lands when the transcript comes back.
