Wonderful app

I love capturing a moment in your life and connecting with someone in another place of the world.

There needs to be a tutorial for practical use of this.

Edit: the developer reached out to me and explained how this app works. Honestly, I looked on YouTube for a tutorial. But I never really saw a real person using it. Some of us really need to see that. I am changing my rating to five stars.

I don’t think I’m stupid! I have three college degrees… However, none of them equipped me to figure out how this app works. 😁

I’m probably stupid but I can’t figure this app out. By the time I get the notice, I have only rarely had time to snap a pic. Also I never see what others are snapping. Maybe I need a tutorial. I want to like this app.

Glitches

It seems like every time I go to take a picture it tells me oops

Year One, So Fun

I started this app almost a year ago and love the spontaneity of catching a picture right now with almost no opportunity to arrange the pic / make it “instaworthy”. My family all knows now, that once every 24 hours, I will have a 60 second freakout when I get my notification. Heh. I’ve exchanged pics with strangers all over the world — and the other day, someone in the town next to mine. Love this app.

So fun and interesting!

I love seeing pictures of places and people’s lives, that would otherwise not be visible to me. And I love having a record of this chunk of my life!

Time

Time passes, why not keep a little of it for yourself. This Daily unscripted moment is capturing shadows of yesterday

Potential

I really like the idea of this project! I don’t like that your picture is just blank if you don’t get to the photo in time or miss the notification. Also, if the person you are matched with doesn’t get to the photo, it’s a let down to see the blank image.

Great concept but annoying

The alarms almost always happen when I am asleep. It is super annoying. The concept is great but why would I purchase a book with tons of black pages ???? It’s stupid. Update. Ok no black pages.also. It’s not abt the dnd. It’s bar the fact that an entire 2 weeks have gone and the alarm has never gone off when I was actually able to take a photo. It’s always when asleep. Still dumb. App is deleted. Bye

So Much Fun!

I love this app! It's so fun seeing moments from other places around the world!

LOVE!!!!

I love this idea! I don’t carry my phone around with me so I miss a lot of days but it’s very cool when I can take the picture and see someone else’s too! Great idea!

Fun, but….

This is a neat app, and can be fun, but there’s not enough time sometimes to take a pic, and I’m not going to pay for more time.

Concept Good but…

The overall concept sounds good and can be fun, but there’s not enough reward along the way to keep you interested in the project.
also sometimes I get multiple request to take a photo throughout the day which is confusing, as I thought it was one photo a day.

Makes me think about how I’m spending time

I look forward to hearing this app and am especially happy when I’m doing something relatively interesting. It makes me aware of how much time I’m spending out and about versus at home, and what I’m doing at home. Am I recovering from surgery, back at work, finishing a project, inside, outside, etc. I don’t take pics of people, but I have lots of pics of my beautiful old pup laying around! The app is a good conversation starter when I whip out my phone and point it at something seemingly random.

Awesome app

Great way to save memories and I love that you can buy a book including all the memories. One of my coworkers bought a book of theirs and it was really good quality and pictures were perfect and clear!

A real-time art project

Minutiae is completely unique and fun!

Loving it

My favorite part is seeing what the other person took a picture of. Best part is when our pictures are similar and they’re on the other side of the world!!!!

Keep Auto Updates On

I really like this app as an idea, but find it functionally fails if you don’t keep auto updates turned on for your apps. This app needs an update about every two days and if you miss one of those updates it will not let you take a photo when the notification comes. Disappointing to get the notification and then have the app bug over and over. Definitely recommend keeping auto updates turned on if it won’t drain your battery.

Like it, but…

When I tap on the box to view other peoples moments, nothing happens. This is the whole reason I downloaded this app.

Upgrading my review

I had previously rated the app 2 stars after feeling frustrated that I was missing all the notifications. But the learning curve “curved”and I think I’ve settled into the minutiae of how it works. I’ve been enjoying capturing my daily photo and seeing photos from other users somewhere else in the world. I’m still missing the opportunity to take a photograph every now and again, if I’m in a mtg at work, or something like that… but that’s just part of it. I’m enjoying the app!
