The best game ever

I love it

I love you so much we play battle with it all the time very very very good

Please fix the app

I found my mip but I don’t remember the app inputs being this delayed plus when in the boxing mode or any of the other combat modes, the control sticks are bugging out and it’s unuseable

My thoughts about MiP

I love the MiP I got for Christmas but the only thing is that MiP might need more balance and it should probably get small training wheels because it keeps falling down

MiP is the coolest

I’m 20 years old, and I still play with this little guy I got 9 years ago. He’s so cool and silly in a good way.

A rate from a kiddo

I absolutely love this app my brother had a MiP it's old but it's sooooooooo fun 🤩 sharing the fun with the fam is so much fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun by the way I'm 10 years old

Still Great

I love my MiP. I am a big fan of 2000s toys. I still have my 2010s Furby but, sadly, the app was shut down. Including the Furby Boom App. MiP has not shut down their servers, even in 2024 so I can still enjoy my two dancing and communicating together. I love these little robots, they’ll never get old bringing stuff on their trays back and forth. I love this app, even in 2024, I hope it doesn’t get shut down.

Review of the WowWee MiP Robot

I received the WowWee MiP robot as a birthday gift, and it’s quickly become one of the most enjoyable robot toys to play with! From unboxing to discovering all the game modes and fun features, MiP has been a fantastic experience overall.

Unboxing and Setup

Taking MiP out of the box is an exciting first step. Inside, I found MiP himself along with a tray (for stacking games), a stand that fits into a slot on his back, a user manual, and a quick-start guide. MiP requires four AAA batteries, which are placed into a battery pack that attaches to the back of the robot. After inserting the batteries, I simply screwed the battery pack back on, flipped the power switch, and watched MiP’s eyes light up as he announced his name. Once I set him on the floor, he balanced himself and introduced himself again in a different tone.

Game Modes and Features

MiP offers a range of game modes, each represented by a different color on his chest, making him very versatile. Here’s a rundown of the modes:

1.MiP Mode (default): In this mode, I control MiP with simple hand motions. His eye sensors detect my hand’s movements, making him move in different directions. It’s intuitive, fun, and MiP is very responsive to each gesture.
2.Stack Mode (pink): This mode involves placing MiP’s tray on his chest and stacking objects on it. MiP begins saying “MiP” faster and faster as I add more items, building excitement until his timer runs out and he spins around, sending everything flying. It’s hilarious and a fun challenge to see how many items you can stack before MiP goes wild.
3.Cage Game (white): MiP “locks” himself in a virtual cage and challenges me to stop him from escaping by placing my hands in front of his sensors. If I don’t block him in time, he wins and celebrates by making funny, show-off noises.
4.Tricks Mode (red): In this mode, MiP allows me to program a sequence of moves. By swiping my hand left, right, forward, or backward, I can create a list of actions up to 50 moves long. When I’m done, I can clap twice or tap his head, and MiP performs the entire sequence. It’s impressive and a lot of fun to see him follow along!
5.Roam Mode (yellow): Here, I can let MiP explore autonomously. He detects obstacles and turns in a new direction to avoid them. He doesn’t detect edges, so I have to keep him away from tables or stairs. But it’s very entertaining to create a mini maze or obstacle course for him and watch him navigate around it.

MiP App

The MiP app, available on both iOS and Android, expands MiP’s functionality even further. Once I downloaded it and enabled Bluetooth, MiP automatically synced to my device. The app has three main icons:

•Battery Bar: This lets me check MiP’s remaining battery life.
•Menu Icon: Through this, I can access all the different games and functions.
•Settings Wheel: This lets me customize MiP’s name, avatar, and volume, and view app information like the firmware version.

Battery Life

While MiP is fun to play with, one of the biggest drawbacks is his short battery life. MiP drains batteries very quickly—sometimes in just a few hours, and the longest I’ve had them last was one day. When the batteries start to get low, MiP’s performance changes noticeably:

•At first, he may say something odd, like “blah blah blah.”
•As they weaken further, his movements slow down, and he struggles to balance.
•His audio becomes quiet, fuzzy, and distorted.
•Eventually, the pitch of his voice drops, and he flashes twice while saying “Uh oh,” before powering down completely after a series of fast flashes.

When the battery gets very low, MiP even starts turning on and off rapidly, with his lights flashing in sync, until he finally shuts down. It happens often enough that keeping spare batteries on hand is essential.

Exciting News: The Coder MiP

Thankfully, something exciting is on the way—a new version called the Coder MiP, which, from what I’ve heard, is similar to MiP but even cooler because it’s rechargeable! I’m looking forward to receiving it soon and am thrilled that I won’t have to worry about constantly changing batteries.

Overall Impression

Despite the battery issues, the WowWee MiP robot is an amazing toy with a variety of fun game modes and endless entertainment through the MiP app. His personality, the ease of controlling him with hand gestures, and the clever design make MiP a standout interactive toy. If you’re looking for a playful, smart little robot, MiP is fantastic. Just be prepared for a lot of battery changes or consider the rechargeable model!

MiP

This game is the best game ever 😇😍🥰🤩🥹🤯🤯🤯😱

Not the best

Mip’s app and itself are okay, it rarely listens To my hand motions and when I’m controlling the app it’s always 7 seconds slow to respond😕

MiP

Good job

I would like the science behind the robot. how it works and could change variable to understand better
