The Controller Panel!!

A MiRack lover for 3+ years, being on a break from due to no MiRack update, logging in 3 days ago, seeing the V4.50 update (!!!) I was happy!

But then, the Controller Panel? In ~2 1/2 days, I’ve used it as the beginning panel for a new:

- double 4 Step binary pitch sequencer!
- individual clock for each of the 8 steps! FWD/REV control for each
- 2 to 8 steps for each Step’s pitch
- 4 binary pitch buttons = 16 diff. Pitches for each step.
- quad quantizer

More coming 8n the future, depending on Panel upgrades.
Will be freely available. (Is now, early as is, at Reddit.)

The promise Updates

I remember, the promise, of many updates soon. But nothing at all...

Insane!

This app along Koala Sampler are the 2 best music apps on the App Store

AUv3 is great - VST and ASIO?

Now that VST and ASIO are open source, it would be an amazing new addition. AUv3 support with the in-app purchase has unlocked such great utility.

Money saver

I was considering getting into modular sythesis, then I found this, which showed me how expensive and futile the hobby would be for me. Definitely do this before spending money on that empty Eurorack case.

Amazing

Great app. Perfect for sound design on the go

Новые модули

Все здорово, но когда новые модули?

rip off

just use vcv rack

it is what it shows on the tin

I don’t think there’s any real reason to get another modular app on iOS. This doesn’t have an exhaustive list of modules but it’s 700 or so, and you can wire them up by hand via touchscreen, which is really intuitive. I also really enjoy being able to pause and save, which I couldn’t do in my real modular (..). There’s a few modules that I used to use missing, but the analogs are close enough and it’s a really fun environment. :)

eurorack на ipad/iphone это супер!!!
Большое Спасибо!!!

Just amazing

I started using this software several years ago and have absolutely loved it. I am constantly learning and coming up with interesting patch ideas. It’s also helped me understand music production processes through experimentation and play. I bought a launchpad XL that pairs super well with the app. Controlling a patch with physical knobs and buttons is next level fun.

Modular ipad

Very nice, great idea for ipad. Works really well, update, using a e pen works extremely well. Im just one with a rubberend i got free

Deepest synth app available

What’s to say? It is a full blown eurorack modular in an app. Just the mutable Instruments and befaco modules alone are endless but there are so many modules on here that you’ll never exhaust its potential.

There are certain things that you can’t do that you can with the physical modules but that usually has never stopped me from achieving what I was going for because you can add as many modules as you need to make it happen.

It also has full connectivity via midi so you can integrate it with anything.

This app has turned my iPad into a full fledged eurorack modular system. Bravo

more modules, please!!!

mirack is great so far. But PLEASE give us the Surge XT and Biset packs. Would be super cool!!! ;-)

Don’t Hesitate!

I bought Mirack as a 77th birthday present to myself, after a lot of hesitation. My closest approach to modular, so far, had been Drambo.

Is it too complicated? All those modules- how do I find what I want? All that on an iPad screen- am I even going to be able to see it? Will I live long enough to do more than make electronic screeches and bloops?

The first hour with it set my mind at rest. Watch a couple of beginner tutorials (there’s a load of them on YouTube) and you should be good to go.

Is it complicated? Yes, it can be, or it can be as simple as an input module and an oscillator. Go at your own pace, but as you see what Mirack is capable of, expect that pace to accelerate.

It’s well organized, by category and by module dev- and part of the thrill is just picking a module to see what it can do. Each module has a rudimentary user guide; some go into more detail.

Navigation is effortless- pinch, zoom, and scroll makes it easy to get the big picture or make the details as big as you need them to be.

I can’t think of another $15 purchase that delivers such a near-infinite array of possibilities.

Amd that big question, will I live long enough to get good sounds out of it? I’ve had it a day and I’ve barely scratched the surface and am already amazed. I’m pretty sure you will be, too. For the price of a burger and fries you can’t go wrong.

Amazing just missing one thing

Its awesome, it is missing a 16ch version that works within Logic Pro when using multichannel surround tracks.

Almost perfect

Module selection is a little sparse but it works great and its definitely enough modules to keep you busy and do most things
