Disappointed
I really loved the original CtC app, and wanted to buy another one to give myself some more interesting challenges. I should have just bought a pack on that one. The UI is really different and my brain just can’t get used to it, and I hate the star system because you have to do a bunch of boring puzzles before you can do any actually interesting ones.

I love these puzzles! Sudoku doesn't seem right any more without the non-consecutive constraint.
Is there any way we change the programming to stay on the puzzle after it's solved? Sort of a buzzkill for it to disappear at the... moment of completion.

Love the app, some hints aren’t quite right.
Puzzle 91, hint #2: … Placing a 4 in 3/5 would make 6/5 6 and 7/4 7 leaving no place in C5 for 7. Well, based on those 2 placements 7 can only go in 4/5 which is where it’s supposed to go. Clearly I’m missing something. Or is a piece of this hint missing?
Irritated by Format
Whilst the puzzles are great, the format is totally different to the CTC app. The CTC app has a number-pad style and I feel this is easier to use as the numbers are bigger and easier to see and click.

Frustrating UI
Please update this app to include the UI improvements added in the Cracking The Cryptic app. The older UI is incredibly frustrating once you have gotten used to the new one.

Why do we have to complete them in order?
This is a stupid requirement and has left me stuck on a puzzle type I hate after only 3 puzzles. Wish I could get my money back.

Getestet in den ersten 20 Levels und in ausgewählten weiteren. So geht der Spielspaß schnell verloren!

I love all of their puzzles, but this one is outstanding because of the great variety. Different rule sets lead to a nice variety in the puzzles. I love it, please more!
Really fun but I’ve noticed a pattern in some sudokus
Great value with tonnes of sudoku puzzles, but with almost all of the non consecutive sudokus I’ve noticed that there will be patterns of the same 3 numbers horizontally or vertically. As in horizontally, each box will have (example)3-6-9 in the same row. I’m not sure if this is a quirk of non consecutive sudokus or something but once I noticed it, completing the sudokus was really quick but it felt like I was cheating in a way with meta knowledge.
Either way, great game filled with fantastic puzzles.

Clues hard to follow
I like the variety & difficulty of these puzzles, but I sometimes find the clues really hard to understand. Need more explaining about "why" a number can't goin a certain square or row. need more context.
Love the challenge, but….
This is a great app and a lot of fun to play, but for one quirk: (almost?) all puzzles seem to have a pattern where the same 3 numbers are repeated in same row or column in every square. For example in the puzzle I just completed, every square has a row with 1,4, 7, a row with 3,6,9 and a row with 2,5,8. Once you recognize the pattern, finishing the puzzle is trivial. Fun and challenging to get to the point that the pattern can be seen. Note to developers: is there a mathematical reason for these patterns? And is there any way to avoid these patterns in future puzzles?

Fantastic
The puzzles are always fantastic, but the addition of the killer calculator really puts this over the top. Very nice quality of life change.

It's great, but there is just one annoying visual bug.
When I rotate my phone to landscape, the 'hint' dialogue becomes very thin and vertical without me instigating it. It is also doing it with the first-time arrow sudoku tutorial message. I suspect the instances are related.
Otherwise, it's a lovely app and the hint system works well. It has a nice variety.

Favourite sudoku app
I watch cracking the cryptic every day and deciding it was time to give a go at variant sudoku. I’ve always loved sudoku but up until this game I had only played normal sudoku rules and killer sudoku. I finished the 100 puzzles and loved every one of them. Currently waiting on chess sudoku to finish downloading!

Great variety
I own three of the Cracking the Cryptic apps and this is my favourite so far - I find some of the other apps a bit “samey” and repetitive, applying the same logic to each puzzle. This app has a wonderful variety of puzzles so that you’re always kept on your toes and each puzzle feels like a fresh challenge and forces you to think in different ways, even at the lower difficulty levels. If you only get one of their apps, I’d make it this one.

More than mildly addictive…
The miracle sudoku is sudoku on crack - ut will ruin you for all other sudokus.
Lots of fun but lazy implementation
Many of the hints have typos and a lot of the puzzles are misnamed or have the wrong coding (knight soduku named king or vice versa)
Misrepresented
They claim that there will be 100 puzzles in the first year. As of now there are three version releases and multiple reviews all listed as 1y ago, but only 80 puzzles. No response from support when I put the question to them. Is it really asking a lot to expect them to do what they claim as part of the deal? No, but they already have your money by then of course.
