What's New in MirraMoments

1.1.1

December 27, 2025

Redesigned Share Extension The Share Extension has been completely rebuilt for improved reliability: Notification-based workflow: When you share a video to MirraMoments, you'll now receive a notification saying "Video Ready! Tap to start recording your reaction." Tapping the notification opens the app and loads your video. Why we changed this: The previous approach attempted to open the app directly from the Share Extension, which iOS often blocks for security reasons. The new notification-based approach is more reliable and works consistently across all iOS versions. Improvements Preserved file formats: Videos now keep their original file extension (.mp4, .mov, etc.) instead of being converted to .mov Better error recovery: If something goes wrong during the share process, temporary files are now properly cleaned up Enhanced logging: Added detailed diagnostic logging to help troubleshoot any issues Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the Share Extension could fail silently when saving video metadata Fixed a potential issue where multiple error buttons could appear on the error screen Fixed Swift 6 concurrency warnings in notification handling code Technical Notes Share Extension now uses UNUserNotificationCenter for reliable app launching App delegate now conforms to UNUserNotificationCenterDelegate for handling notification taps Notification permissions are requested when first sharing a video (if not already granted)
