I use a IPhone 12 and have a Samsung Tv with chrome cast. The app works ok most of the time but have problems activating it even though it say connected to the TV

Couldn’t mirror iPhone Apple TV purchased movies to non smart tv as AI advised.
slow and erratic
won’t cast images for OS Photos other than in Library. No favorites, no movies, not from albums. Stops erratically. Very disappointed!
