FAQ

What does this app do?

This app allows you to stream web videos, livestreams, and your personal photos, videos, and music to any Google Cast-enabled device, such as a Chromecast, Nexus Player, or compatible smart TV. You can browse websites and send embedded videos directly to your TV for a larger viewing experience.

What are the key features of the premium edition?

The premium edition unlocks all features, including a remote playbar for controlling video playback on your TV, casting unlimited personal media from your device or cloud services, an ad-blocker, unlimited bookmarks, and subtitle support. Future features are also included without additional cost.

Is this app free to use?

The app offers a free edition that allows you to test its core functionality. However, certain advanced features, such as unlimited personal media casting, an ad-blocker, and the remote playbar, are available through in-app purchases in the premium edition.

What devices is this app compatible with?

The app is designed to work with devices that have Google Cast or Chromecast built-in. This includes devices like Chromecast, Nexus Player, Nvidia Shield gaming consoles, and various smart TV brands such as Vizio, Toshiba, Sony, Philips, and Sharp.

Can I stream DRM-protected content like Netflix or Amazon Prime?

No, this app does not support streaming DRM-protected videos from services like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, DirecTV, Xfinity, or HBO Now. It also does not support iTunes movies or Flash videos. The app streams only the video portion of a website, not the entire website content or screen mirroring.
