I have met so many new people using Mr B&B people ask me are you afraid having new people in your house but Mr B&B seems to have a really wonderful clientele of really generous people that stay with me and are very polite. I am super host with Mr B&B and they send me Super people. I’m amazed at the quality of their clientele thank you Mr B&B for making my world a better place.

Terrible User Interface
This app is horrible and confusing to use. They need a version with ads or something the paid version is ridiculous.
Currency
I would prefer to use Canadian currency as opposed to Euros when booking. We stayed in the U.S. booked from Canada and it was processed using Euros. When it comes to final payment I found it confusing to know what exactly I was paying with figuring out U.S. exchange and Euro exchange rates. Either way it’s expensive with the Canadian dollar when exchanging U.S. and Euros.

Brilliant social tool
I have been using the rental side of MisterBnB for sometime now. All the safeguards are brilliant, customer service is excellent and even though the platform fees are a little high, I think it’s worth it for the service.
I have made some wonderful friends and had some brilliant social interaction using the platform.
I know there are some hotels and corporate entities that use MisterBnB, but when you find the true individuals, there’s nothing quite like it.

Glitches stop this from being great
This is a great idea but there are real problems with the site. It’s hard to navigate, contact details for guests are “hidden” and hard to find. And right now, it’s impossible to block dates out of the calendar that I cannot host.

This app doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I require properties with 2 bedrooms. I’m presented two bedroom properties but only allow to select 1 bedroom. It’s very confusing.

Tragically ruined app
This app was so cool for years and now it’s basically ruined. It now always suggests hotels over independent gay hosts and staying with cool, interesting hosts was the whole reason I used this app for years. Now I can’t even find any information about prospective hosts without subscribing to their stupid dating app. Truly tragic.

Excited when I first heard of this, but then……
Well what can I say, as a married, gay male I thought this would give gay friendly Airbnb type accommodations. Boy was I wrong, this is nothing more than a hook up site for promiscuous men looking for not a room at a bob, but in some cases according to the site, just a couch in someone’s apartment. You don’t have to think hard for how that rent gets payed. It’s sites like this that are the reason respectable people of the world hate gay men, and I’m inclined to agree. Disgusting.

No Smart Pricing Integration
I was a Fab'ul'host but after receiving bookings two Christmas' in a row at half price due to MisterB&B's refusal to integrate smart pricing like PriceLabs, I unlisted all my properties with them. I've been asking for smart pricing integration for 2 years and still nothing. Their customer service sucks and not in a good way. They were gonna cancel my guest's Christmas booking (months after he booked) and charge me simply because I unlisted the property after receiving the booking. I have never canceled on a guest. And they only gave me 5 hours to reply then didn't reply to me in 5 hours. Then they charged that guest twice after he paid me personally because MisterB&B told him they couldn't process his payment but they apparently did. And they don't appear to allow for multiple payout methods. As a host, MisterB&B is worse than booking.com, which is saying something.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
I am part of the LGBTQ community and I always go out of my way to support LGBTQ owned platforms, businesses, and community based services. That is the only reason I trusted MrB&B. I believed I was supporting a safe and community driven platform that looks out for LGBTQ travelers. Unfortunately, this experience proved the complete opposite. I later found out that MrB&B is owned by Booking and I truly did not know that when I booked. If I had known, I would have never used it.
The property I booked turned out to be fraudulent according to the actual property owner, yet MrB&B provided absolutely no real help when I needed support the most. Instead of assisting or protecting me as a customer in the LGBTQ community traveling internationally for the holidays, they simply kept referring me to Booking. Meanwhile Booking was referring me back to the host, who never responded to anyone for weeks. MrB&B could not answer my questions, did not guide me properly, and left me completely unsupported during a stressful situation where I could have ended up stranded in another country during New Year travel.
I trusted MrB&B because it promotes itself as an LGBTQ safe space platform, but there was no meaningful protection, no accountability, and no real support when it mattered. This entire experience was extremely stressful and disappointing, especially coming from a platform that I genuinely wanted to support as part of my community.
