The idea behind the app I love. The app itself is dreadful and every update gets worse. Been a paid subscriber for over a year but going to cancel. Today the app won’t even open. Other problems include the interface, the buttons too small, trying to down load a mix in the queue often miss the button and start playing the mix. Downloaded mixes often just disappear so have to download again. The general navigation could only make sense to the designer who made it. App stops playing frequently and have to quit completely to get it to play again. I could go on but what’s the point I emailed Mixcloud and they haven’t done anything about my concerns yet happy to take the money every month. I’ll just go back to the free version at least I’ll get my moneys worth.

So many apps ruined by pop ups and ads. Not this one! If the genre’s of music featured are your cup of tea…it’s a really good app! I use it a lot and totally recommend it for anyone into ambient, house, etc. It’s awesome.

Good to Bad to Ugly
MixCloud was one of my favorite apps for many years. Unfortunately it has gone from, Good to Bad to Ugly.
The basic functionality was excellent for many years. Then inconsistencies crept in and increased throughout 2025. Frustrating, it is and has been for several months of 2026.
Often I would share links for streams, several times a day. Now it rarely works well for more than 5 minutes before glitching. Interrupted music can be quite frustrating.
I cannot recommend this app until they figure things out…???
