Good basic functionality
App works well and is reliable allowing us to control the hot water tank from anywhere. However the app is quite basic and some more features would be awesome such as:
- A widget that can be put on the home screen to show current tank hot water level.
- Ability to schedule a time period to turn on the immersion heater (not just a time that you want hot water by). This would make it easy to take advantage of free electricity periods.
- Ability to set the fuel source for a specific boost, when using the boost feature. Maybe a long press on the boost button would be a great way of implementing it?
Thanks for prioritising reliability, but a few of these features being implemented would be fantastic!

Insight
Since update in June, the insight section has been temporarily disabled. I like to see how much energy I use, but can’t now.
Useless update
The app was fine until recent update. I used to have minimum 1% to maximum 3% residual hot water. NIW CAN ONLY DO 5-10 %. Why change. Useless please revert back to old app.
Poor
Since the recent update the everything inside Insights is disabled. This app has the potential to be great but lots of small bugs, and lack of features adds up to a poor experience. The effort required to make this app great is minimal so why not just do it?
Doesn’t work properly anymore
Following recent update the app is really unreliable and unresponsive. When boosting the temp it takes an age to show the request is being carried out and occasionally seems to drop the connection when doing so. It was fine until a few months ago so must be a recent buggy update.
Can’t register address on app
The app will not accept my address. Please help
Unnecessary page added in latest update
New My Home/My Devices page adds an unnecessary step for looking at my tank and boosting my hot water

“Heating status: not heating” but it is, from your Solar Diverter product.Can’t you show that on the home page?
As someone else said, how about some numbers, data not just the graphs which are ok but a bit basic.

No timer
Please add timer so you you can tell the boiler to come on for 1 hour etc…It’s the basics!
Useless update
This app worked perfectly until a recent update. Now it takes for ever to come on. Please revert back to old version or test it before releasing it.

Just had my tank installed and like the control it gives over my old ‘dumb’ tank.
I would like the app to see and record what solar is being used so can track this on graphs as I divert from my Eddi and can run off pure solar during the sunnier months.

Lots of little issues
There’s many little issues that should be addressed.. Why can I only delete an off peak period? Why can’t I edit one? When I click into the time box for off peak, click ok and click back in, is it not set to what I just chose? Why is AM/PM only shown when selecting a time on the pop up? Why are some things AM/PM, others 24H clock? Why can’t you always choose one format? Why on the schedule is the title (tank serial number) differently (left) aligned? UK is not a timezone. Why do I have to contact you to disable grid assistance?

A brief description of an update including updated PV diverted settings and updated timers! Brill I’m using timers and PV diverter so I excitedly update.
I have searched the app too to bottom and Iv know idea what these updates are. Not a clue!
Either add some info to your subtle update notes or make your updates exciting, beneficial and obvious when opening the ‘updated’ app.

Does the job prefer old colours
Can we have the old colour scheme back please? The new one looks like it’s older than the original.
