Friendly and Competition The game modes now sit under two categories. Competition is the taste-off, renamed: the one mode where everyone makes a drink and tastes it before voting. Drink the winner and Build a menu sit under Friendly. Dedicated judges, if you want them Competition can now be scored by judges instead of by the players. Turn on dedicated judges and they join with their own code, score every drink from 0 to 10, and the points are revealed on the Apple TV. Leave it off and the players score it themselves, the way they always have. Hosts pick their own seat too: run the night without playing, sit in as a judge, or join as a competitor. The reveal belongs to the host now instead of firing on the last ballot, so you can hold the room before the results land. While voting is open you can see who the round is still waiting on, by username, on your own phone instead of up on the wall. If the app loses track of a live game you can resume it or end it rather than starting over, and only one game per host runs at a time. In the game Recipes now open the same detail sheet as the rest of the app, so you can save a drink you liked instead of only adding its ingredients. Vessel labels default to colour so nobody loses track of which glass is theirs, and allergen flags sit at the top of the drinks people are about to pour. The voting card leads with three standouts instead of nine facts. Signing up is quick again Creating an account no longer waits on an email verification step before you can claim your username.
