NBC - Peacock deals made me drop the app
The subscription is already expensive at approx $60USD/mos. Now you need to pay another 12$/mos if i want to watch « all games » as advertised. I get black-outs games but forcing fans to pay for another app. Is just stupid. I was liking the app and willing to keep my subscription all season but this NBC/Peacock deal was my tiping point.

Terrible Customer Service
I’m a transplant to the Philly metro area, and have an MLB.TV subscription so I can keep watching the Yankees now that I am out of market. My account constantly gets flagged that I am in the Yankees media market and blacks out games for me, and the support staff that the app directs you to are completely useless, the only way I have been able to have my account fixed is my reaching out to MLB on Twitter

Blackouts
These blackouts are utterly ridiculous. I will never understand it. It’s telling me I’m blacked out for games I am nowhere near. Why???????? This why baseball suffers.
Commercials Freeze
All in all it’s a good app, but there’s a technical issue that has been around for years when using it to watch games on MLB.TV, frequently commercials will cause the app to freeze forcing you to reboot to continue viewing.
I’ve experienced this on the Google TV app, Roku app, and iOS apps on multiple devices. Also on multiple WiFi & cellular networks.

Okay app when it works
(Which it rarely does). Amazing that a multi billion dollar industry can sell you access to their services and somehow put out a product that can’t do something as simple as stream a video. Don’t think I’ll ever be buying another subscription again.

Consistently stops playing.
Works for the most part
I have been with two carriers having the app and with both I frequently loose the broadcast in both rural and urban areas. Usually after extended “buffering” then have restart the app, causing me to miss significant time during the game-often 5 minutes or more. It has been that way since MLB first introduced the app and happens whether watching the video stream or listening to the radio stream. I’ve made comments about this before, but MLB doesn’t seem to care, as there has been no change.

I’m Burmese/Australian from Sydney. Just checking between yankees and LA since around 2015 then covid started. Watch more sports then fall in love with the whole Dodgersmania. I follow GSW, 9ers and friends/ relos were saying stick with what you know. Also calling me bandwagon. Comon, I go for 9ers. How many heartbreaks that I have. In here in Aus, I follow NRL team called Parramatta Eels teams since 1996 and boy they choked every year. Nah I sticked by it and now I am a proud dodger fan. Signing Sho topped the deals. Let’s go dodgers. 3peats.

Cannot watch Dodgers tonight’s game on app watched last few nights, now doesn’t accept my subscription.
Annoying with audio only plan
There are so many random irritations if you just have the audio only plan. You can click on a game and it’ll be like “you need a subscription” without asking if you want to listen to the radio broadcast. It’s like this all over the app, like they pretend we don’t exist.
Why I like the mlb
The reason I like the mlb is because I think it’s fascinating and interesting to watch it i like the Phillies and dodgers I always thought that it was cool. My name is Mason walker and that’s why I like the mlb.
