Great medium for staying in the loop

This is a great tool to keep in the know with our jobs while mobile. Many useful buttons to contact resources and the search function works quickly.

Horrible but somewhat usable

Many glaring issues with but not limited to: push notifications are not functional, UX design, UI design, mobile navigation layout, missing navigation elements on several pages resulting in the inability to navigate out of page & must force restart. Php/mysql backend settings prevents one from attaching more than 5 photos at a time and uploading speed is inconsistent, and periodic issues with app uploading duplicates or even triplicates...missing tab bar, change log in app store states one update includes “video chat” I do not see evidence of that ever existing, plus Tons more minor issues.
How poorly executed and how anemic the support is for it, is all very surprisingly odd…and more so if this was created the way it appears to be: i.e. Based on the issues observed above, the inability to even trigger app notifications, I am not convinced this is a true mobile application nor designed to be a mobile application but rather it appears to be website/Webapp or PWA converted to an installation iOS package. That is the only thing that makes sense or explains why the app fails to execute many of the necessary functions...since the lack of updates addressing known issues, they should just use abandon this for Smartsheets, GSuite, ot tappapp. It would save everyone time and money

Trash company Trash app

They’re scam artist and Apple should remove this app! They take money from IT field techs! Send you to site and you’ll complete the work and they will find an absurd reason to not pay you! Don’t work for them and APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS APP FROM YOUR STORE! Please!!!!!

only Barrister is worse…

the only other worse platform, if you can even call them that, is Barrister. No real bidding on work… again, no actual bidding… you say “available” or “unavailable”; they call you to confirm and depending on which pm you get, you might have an opportunity to negotiate rate… but usually they set rates which are usually low. we turned down 75% of there work because of low pay… then you add in the accounting person was always wrong and delayed… we got ‘fill in’ work from them for several years, and i can’t think of one time there wasn’t a pay issue that didn’t require multiple phone calls to fix. Then you factor in the tech support reps are either new with little field experience or old with little field experience… the one time you get a guy who was decent, you’d never talk to him again because he quit the day you spoke to him. Apparently there is a lot of internal turmoil with this app, as there was a major split a couple years ago and the app cloudwork pro came out of it… but they may have resolved the turmoil because last i spoke to both, they were using a lot of same people to answer phones; and the accounting department is the exact same person. Unless you like being treated like an employee, rather than a contractor or self employed person or small businesses owner or all of them in one, please beware… I think for me personally the most cringe part of dealing with Techlink, is often i felt like an employee doing big corporate bidding, for people who often didn’t seem to know what they were doing… If your a guy or gal who is just starting out, this app could be good for filler work; but for seasoned pro’s who get it everyday… Field Nation and Workmarket are our favorites… like I said at the beginning, the only other app that is worse, is Barrister… Its basically Barrister without whatspp and the uncomprehending thick Bali accent.

Useful

Good but i get push notifications from random work orders i am not involved in, also you can tap “forgot” password all day and it will not redo redirect or do anything.

Super buggy and unresponsive

This might as well be a beta version. Chop chop dev get the bugs fixed.

No iPhone 12 max support

App was fine before this update. Needs to be optimized for iOS 14 with iPhone 12 max. The orientation of the screen makes it where you cannot select the menu, back up, or save a photo because the icons are in an area above the screen where you cannot click. This is definitely a dev issue because I reinstalled on another company iPhone and it has same issue. iPhone 11 max and below is fine. Please adjust this ASAP. It hinders close outs big time!

MOBI

Robust app for accepting and scheduling work orders from TechLink

Very buggy

I always have to open the app, close it then re open it to see anything. And right now it’s not opening at all I have to delete and re-install.

Efficient and convenient

It’s great having easy access on the go to communicate to Techs in the field. MOBi keeps us accountable in real time on completed projects and updates along the way.

Needs Work-A lot of it

I have to sign out, and back in, to see work orders, even if they are already assigned. Doesn’t remember username, or password. No link to offer password reset. Rubs on IOS, but doesn’t allow Touch ID. JUST use the portal, and let your browser remember the password. Much simpler.

Mediocre

Would give zero stars, if possible. Does not populate with available work orders. WORTHLESS- it would be beneficial, if it worked. Two thumbs down.

Crashes and has to be reinstalled to fix

Functionality is mostly there (GPS-based pushbutton logon/logoff would be nice) but incessant crashing kills any chance of a higher rating, particularly since the ONLY fix after a crash is to delete and reinstall. App will NOT recover from a crash once occurred. Crashes happen at random and roughly once per day that the app is used.
