Why bother??
I bought the EarCam Otoscope in order to address inner ear wax. Given the utter frustration that the setup has caused, I’ve decided that it’s easier and less painful of an endeavor to simply cutoff both ears.

Camera quality is great functionality is not
I’ve never left a review but I have to to save moms and the only reason it isn’t 1 star is because I still use it and the camera and sound is good. However the bug is so bad and is not fixed. I have to swipe out of the app multiple times and wait for the camera to pop back up after every single time I look at the camera. I won’t know when he wakes up sometimes because he will have to belt a cry out to get me to come in when I’m asleep because the camera goes out randomly in the night when we have full internet reception. When I try to check on him fast to see if he needs me the loading process takes a full minute or 2 to get the camera to pop up when it finally does work, which is forever in a moms world. Please fix these bugs if you’re meant to be a baby camera!!

Very handy device + app
We’ve been using the MOBI Smart pill dispenser for our mother, who has dementia, and it has been helpful. The app is easy to use and gives our family peace of mind knowing her medications are organized and on schedule. It’s made managing her care much simpler. We also use their blood pressure monitor and have had a great experience with that as well. Overall, a very useful system for caregivers.

Unreliable
The app has failed to send a notification about the panic/SOS button being pushed, which has delayed getting urgent care to my elderly grandmother. The notifications don’t appear urgent even when the button DOES trigger a notification- it sounds exactly the same as any other notification from the app. The entire reason behind this purchase was to feel reassured that my loved one had an easy way to alert me that something is dangerously wrong and it failed several days in a row. Disappointing and a waste of $80.

Worked once then never would pair up
Used this once about a year ago on my Grandson who had an earache, then about 8mo later app was dead. Couldn’t log in or even make a new acct. do I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Otoscope would NOT pair up. Tried every fix-it solutions and still nothing!! Tried to connect with other otoscope apps. Device would not pair with any of those either. Yes, Lights were flashing for pairing. Throwing this out! Going back to to old flashlight and magnifying glass.

Worked for a few times but now it doesn’t work
I loved the otoscope at first but now when I open the app, it either doesn’t work or works for a second then the video freezes
Life saver (literally lol)
This affordable personal emergency system SOS with internet gateway alert system for the elderly, disabled, and/or someone who needs care or fall risk is very affordable from Walmart for $40 bucks, which is nothing to provide someone you love and care about an extra route to reach out for help if unable to access phone to make a call or if noone is nearby to help right away, when they push the SOS button around their neck, the caregiver can receive an alert anywhere in the world basically to any device that has the app, or linked to Google Assistant or Amazon, also you can purchase a monthly subscription for emergency services nearby, EMS, Paramedics, Police can be dispatched to said location that linked within the app and will respond to provide medical support to your loved ones. I love this little device and highly recommend. The only issue I have with the Zigbee gateway itself is for some reason it will disconnect from our home network randomly without reason or cause that I can see. The gateway is no farther than maybe 8 feet from nearest Wi-Fi router and the SOS button is no farther than 10 feet at maximum distance, after researching and reading the specifications and operating radius, both devices are well within operating conditions. Yet probably on average once a week the gateway will just disconnect and I will have to reset and readd both devices once a week, that's pretty serious because there's also times I'm not notified or have knowledge until I think to check the app and see it's been offline. I've uploaded a diagnosis log within the app and hopefully Mobi can figure out why this continues to happen. Other than that I recommend this to anyone to have a peace of mind for your loved ones that requires special care.

I’m a new father of a 9month old baby boy and I couldn’t be more happier with my MOBI Smart Cam MP and all the features are amazing I can hear him and speak to him through the camera it also has motion detection which is very accurate, the picture is also crystal clear plus I didn’t have to subscribe or pay for anything extra what more could I ask for in a smart cam ? Nothing is the answer

Mobi Smart is a solid app that gets the job done without any fuss. It has the same feel as the original Mobi app, so if your already used to that, you’ll feel right at home here. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. While there aren’t any groundbreaking new features, the app works reliably and is perfect for managing whatever you need on the go.

The set up is too hard takes forever and barely works… then the cameras randomly disconnect and reconnect all the time like wtf… do better
don’t use as baby monitor
if i can deter one person from getting a mobi cam as their baby monitor, this review will be worth my time. going to start by saying we have wonderful internet. but the app crashes randomly, so if your baby starts crying in the middle of the night while you’re asleep, you won’t hear them crying. makes for an entirely restless night because your anxiety will have you waking up every 5 minutes to make sure the camera is still working. also if you want to check in on your baby, you’ll likely have to refresh the app 10 times before it’ll actually load the camera. so when you THINK you hear your baby fussing and you want to check the camera before going in their room, your baby will stir themselves awake enough to not go back to sleep before the camera even loads. also the “detected baby crying” notification is not trustworthy as it almost never sends me the notification when my baby is actually crying. usually only when one of his toys is making noise. been using it for 6 months now and can firmly say there are better options out there. i’m about to get a $20 audio monitor and it will be more trustworthy than the mobi cam

No alerts in app
Each device has triggered multiple times, but not once has the app alerted me. If it wasn’t for the devices beeping, I would never know there was a water leak. Upon device beeping, if I go to the app, I’m forced to manually login again, and only then does the app get the alert, but by then it’s too late. Devices work, but worthless app tech.

the camera makes my son cry
purchased two cams and have had problems since day 1. do not buy these cameras they randomly stop working in the middle of the night when we need it most to monitor our son. everytime they malfunction we have to physically take the camera down and redo the whole setup. it’s happened over 10 times. to the point where my son has anxiety attacks in the middle of the night because the camera stopped working and “no one is watching him” these cams have made our lives harder. DO NOT BUY THESE CAMERAS.

This app was great before this most recent update. Now it crashes, reboots. Infinite loading or freezes all together.
