Terrible desktop version and worse app. Neither work on an iPad. If I wasn’t forced to use this I wouldn’t touch it. Completely destroys my workflow with its clumsy slow interface that only works on a laptop which means when I’m running around making sales calls, it is useless.

Very disappointing! Never loads and keeps stalling! I had to login to web interface to find a single contact this took 20 mins
App is Clumsy but Adequate for Phones#s and Emails
Contrary to some comments Act Companion is searchable by Company and by Name. The operation is not intuitive but once you learn it it is adequate. Also the phone numbers for contacts that have multiple phones are there too, not intuitive but easy once learned. Adding a contact has the same issue, it is not intuitive but once you learn it it is adequate. I prefer Act Companion over the several after market programs I have tried. The good thing is it is free and is always in sync with the database.

Terrible
For as good as ACT is, this app is terrible. An calendar update was just implemented but the mobile app doesn’t sync. Takes forever to navigate around and so much isn’t available on the app. Sadly, since going to cloud based, ACT performance has gone down overall.

This is very serious, this app shouldn’t be in the market, beware consumers. In my case It stop working completely and I can’t do much, there is no way to reset the password either.

Getting Closer
Much better and faster than earlier versions but no landscape ipad version? In todays day and age? And still hard to add a new activity and it is cumbersome. This could be a great app for field sales reps but needs improvement. But a lot better than when tried last year.

Poor Functionality
We have been using Act for over 15 years, most recently enduring the appalling upgrade to v22 and numerous updates to fix multiple issues. Act companion is poorly executed and lacks functionality. At best a list of contacts, would be better if they developed an integration tool that worked better with existing software such as Outlook or Apple rather than trying to deliver a stand alone product that fails. With draw it or develop it please.

20 year ACT! User.
Horrendously Horrible especially when compared to Act! I simply cannot understand how to schedule an activity. There absolutely no support! Do NOT buy this.
Insufficient
I was expecting an app that would complement the platform. Big mistake! Crashed several times and had to delete and restore the app also. Once active the data is a minimal level just like a large phone book..Nothing fancy and basic with issues.
New version doesn’t work
I upgraded to the newest version and now it completely does not work on my iPhone 11+ (which has the newest iOS installed)
Was great
I’ve been using the iPhone app for about three months and it was working great until the latest update. Now I can’t call direct from the app with my phone. If this gets resolved you’ll get a 5 star review.

Keep up the good work! (please add Notes when possible). And it would be nice to have the option of seeing both the Company and Contact name in the Contacts view. Thanks!!

Lots of new ways to search - by contact, Company, groups, opportunity and more. Look up histories and related docs. Fast links between related items. Business card reader and heat map.
Unfortunately average star rating tells the story
Very cumbersome an unintuitive app. Much touted card reader doesn’t work - there have been similar apps for reading cards around for years - this one does nothing at all. Poor try and not a good advert for Act

Something as simple as being able to search by company name instead of Contact name can’t be done. The options are so limited it is useless.
