Not for verifying fake IDs
As a bouncer I collected 23 fake ids over the weekend from various states. All 23 scanned. It was laughable considering what some of these fakes looked like.

The fake id’s will scan just like real ones.
Worked for PDF417 but not mDL QR
No problem reading PDF417 the crossword like barcode on the back of licenses. But it didn’t decode a Cal mDL. It kept spinning and the request just timed out.

I’ve tried numerous times to get this to add my portrait or a copy of my license and it won’t do it! And apparently once you leave the app it doesn’t retain any info! Not real handy!

I thought I’d try this out at my bar which is located in a college town. It’s sometimes hard to spot these newer fakes and I thought I’d try this.
After using it for a month with no hiccups I decided to test this on my daughters driving permit to see what it would do and it said she was 21!!! Seriously this app is a joke

This app scans clearly fake IDs as well and not all real IDs. Very inconsistent and wouldn’t recommend relying on it

Used it for fun on my REAL id that says I’m 24 and it had the wrong name and said I was underage. Doesn’t do what it’s intended for.

This ID scanner literally passed the barcode on my box of Cheezits as a 21+ ID. This scanner will pass anything from what I am seeing. Very disappointed...

Worst Scanner Ever!
I downloaded this app and tried on my id, and it worked. Then I tried it on a random qr code and it worked as well. Improve your app!! or don't.
