App broken. Issues after version (Fixed!)
This app has been working great for my business for multiple years. However about a week ago, around the time of the newest version patch. I am no longer able to connect to my partition…..

They finally released version 1.4! It seems to have resolved the issue on iOS devices. We’ll see how long it lasts….. took almost 6mths. Interesting that where it says what’s been addressed in the update, that all they list is bug fixes and don’t say, we fixed what we broke. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused everyone.
This app has been one of the primary selling points for customers with an easy to use interface for controlling their doors remotely and being able to maintain security. The app has been broke since November of 2024. That was 5 months ago! Tech support just says it’s Apples issue! They tell me, “Just go buy an Android”. Now I’m losing customers to other competitors (PDK, Genetec, etc) Ever since Honeywell acquired Lenel they’ve been going downhill.
Pretty sad that Lenel is willing to lose customers and revenue over an app they don’t care about fixing. This is ridiculous and to the point of our company looking to partner and become integrators with other access control products.

Version 1.3.9 of the App no longer works with iOS 18+
Version 1.3.9 of the App no longer works with iOS 18+. Multiple attempts to contact the developer and the VAR indicate that the developer is aware of the issue, but there’s no planned fix that has been communicated.

No longer works
This app used to work and enable us to remotely view the security cameras and access the door lock. Some time back it stopped working. The company that installed and maintains the S2 security system has been pushing Lenel:S2 to fix the app to no avail. The Android version apparently still works.

Like previous reviewers, I can no longer connect to my partition. I need help and can’t find support. Please help.

I’m an integrator. A customer called having issues connecting. I was still running the old 1.3.7 version and was still working. Updated to latest version and cannot connect.

This app has been working great for my business for multiple years. However about a week ago, around the time of the newest version patch. I am no longer able to connect to my partition. Unfortunately the link to their support from App Store is also not working. I hope they can revert back or please have a solid way to receive support. Other than things like this, when the app works it is awesome. A colleague of min has stayed on the version before the most recent update and his works fine.

App not working after update
After the app updated today, the app stop working. It’s been working fine for 5yrs. We even created a new user, etc. No luck.
Upgrade to 1.3.9 from 1.3.7 doesn’t work

Buggy url validation means you have to make up silly fqdn for your systems
Can use Dynamic DNS
The app seems to only accept IP addresses as “valid urls”. That’s silly. Remove this stupid check and let any URL that resolves to the proper location work please.
Does not Allow to Lock Portals
Would be much more functional if I could not only unlock but also lock portals remotely. Considering bad weather, staff leaving early, etc is when doors need to be locked.
Doesn’t work on iPhone 12
This app used to be great but for 5 months I haven’t had access to my cameras because of some update that they put out which made it incompatible with iPhone 12.
Good start, could use some more improvements though!
The app, typically speaking, is quite functional and significantly more reliable than the previous version. I’d love to see FaceID unlock and custom launch screens as options though. While always defaulting to “activity” is better than nothing, we typically find that users want this for quick unlock access of doors on the go where they are remotely taking a call and waiting for status to load before switching to portals, and then waiting for that to load can take some time.

Very Limited, Features Do Not Work
Several of the features do not work that should work in the app. Cannot see multiple cameras at one time. Locks up often. Not great and S2/Lenell have no other alternatives.
iPad version doesn’t allow you to unlock portals.
Also the button action on the iPhone to unlock doors is inconsistent and the button sticks.
