MobileCap allows you to record 3D animations using your iOS device's camera. It utilizes ARKit for real-time full body 14-point tracking, enabling you to capture motion without expensive suits or manual animation.
Key features include real-time full body 14-point tracking powered by ARKit, the ability to preview and refine captures within the app, and export options for FBX animation files or CSV rotation data compatible with most 3D modeling programs and game engines.
The application is free to download and use, with in-app purchases available. Specific features or advanced functionalities may require these purchases.
Full body tracking requires an A12 Bionic processor, found in devices like iPhone XS/XR and newer. For more accurate tracking, a LiDAR-enabled device such as iPhone 12 Pro or iPad Pro 2020 or later is recommended. Other app functionalities can be evaluated on different devices.
Captured animations can be exported as FBX files, which are widely compatible with common 3D modeling programs and game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. You can also export the data as a CSV spreadsheet containing rotation information for further analysis or use.
