No subscriptions, no ads, no pop-ups
You simply just hit record and do your scan. That's it. The app doesn't ask you to do all kinds of other stuff designed to greedily extort money from you. The scanner app simply scans.
Excellent. Does what it needs to!
This application does exactly what many scanning apps fail at: simplicity and efficiency, and cost. It effectively allows for large (1 billion points) scans without crashing. The options are clear, and it is easy to use. Export settings are excellent and useful for quick exporting lower resolution point clouds or meshes if necessary.

It’s free!
I used to used the 3D Scanner app but they change to subscription. So I needed a new lidar app. So far if it stays free I’ll keep using it. If they eventually start charging for the app I’ll buy it if it’s not a subscription fee.

Beautiful - Exactly what I expect from an app.
I wish all apps were like this, no subscriptions nor ads, no hidden fees or pop ups. This simplistic beauty is a hidden gem for sure. Please don’t ever make this a subscription based off and I created an Apple account just to rave about how awesome this app is. 10/10 Would Recommend.

Ya sea para mapear un sitio y mandarlo para trabajar con esa info o para probar las capacidades del LiDAR esta app es buenísima, hace una sola cosa y la hace muy bien, eso sí tiene una curva de aprendizaje en lo que se refiere a escanear bien las áreas, pero es muy útil. No es de suscripción y eso se merece no cinco ni diez, mil estrellas.

Just kidding, no advertisements. This is an honest app, and it does not have hidden fees. I can really appreciate the minimal pop ups, as there are none. Super straightforward and easy to use. Honestly, just an awesome and very direct app.
One problem
It is the best thing ever but it has one problem the resolution and my dog will not stop moving
