No subscriptions, no ads, no pop-ups
You simply just hit record and do your scan. That's it. The app doesn't ask you to do all kinds of other stuff designed to greedily extort money from you. The scanner app simply scans.
Excellent. Does what it needs to!
This application does exactly what many scanning apps fail at: simplicity and efficiency, and cost. It effectively allows for large (1 billion points) scans without crashing. The options are clear, and it is easy to use. Export settings are excellent and useful for quick exporting lower resolution point clouds or meshes if necessary.

It’s free!
I used to used the 3D Scanner app but they change to subscription. So I needed a new lidar app. So far if it stays free I’ll keep using it. If they eventually start charging for the app I’ll buy it if it’s not a subscription fee.
