Good app
Great for visualization molecules in lab
Might replace a modeling kit completely!
I really enjoyed this app! I’ve been waiting on a modeling kit and this app has honestly made me reconsider that option. The only thing I wish would be implemented was being able to to chose which side of the molecule you are rotating (ie. H3C—CH3 and being able to select whether you rotate the left H3C or right side CH3 part of the bond)

Very useful for starting Organic chemistry
I’ve never found an app quite similar to this one. I love how you can interactively recreate any molecule in 3D. I hope they perhaps add the capability to add individual hydrogens, but otherwise they have a good set of atoms to build with!

Cannot make a benzene ring
This is stupid, you can’t even make a benzene ring in it.

, but as soon as I finished adenine, I realized I can’t finish building DNA because I need a P atom. Anyway, nice app and good graphics! Lets me see the actual shape of a molecule in 3d and reshape it, when I place an atom it comes to its place right away and all that... Great job!
Saved my orgo semester
This app was recommended to me by a friend and it really helped out with orgo! It was much more convenient than carrying around a model kit and allowed me to create structures anywhere. It was a little weird to navigate at first but once I got the hang of it it’s super easy to make molecules. I would definitely recommend this app to anybody taking organic chemistry!

What an amazing tool!
ModelAR is a great alternative to the expensive model kit I was required to buy in Orgo. Not only is it FREE, it allow me to always have a model set with me and it doesn’t take up room in my backpack.

Adds hydrogens every what
Not intuitive at all, automatically adds hydrogens everywhere, does not let you delete said hydrogens, and does not offer all elements. Only allowed to use oxygen, carbon, chlorine, and bromine. Don’t expect to use this to build your own molecules. Literally useless. So disappointed.
