I had a house fire and most of my temple was destroyed. Luckily my grimoire since 2018 has been with this app developer( first with the earlier version of it it and now Neumoire). For all the people who dis me for not writing it in an actual book, I say I can read this one by candlelight with my poor vision and I still have this one! It takes up less space and doesn’t use trees.

So Close To Perfect!!!
This is definitely my favorite find as of recent since I do most of my craft digitally, with the small tech issues fixed it will 100% take off because the demand is there.
Used to love this
As the title says, I used to absolutely adore this app. As that’s where I kept all my stuff on, but it recently logged me out and will not let me log back in no matter what I do.
Needs work
Had pinned spells but now I have to go to tags just to open my spells. Otherwise it says I have no pinned post or anything
So much potential
I wish this app worked for me because it is exactly what I was looking for, a place to collect all my thoughts as I have them and compile info across the various books, apps, etc. But it crashes and logs me out constantly, entries don’t save or back up even when logged in, there’s no way for me to save the entry and then close it without me going back (which creates a double entry). I tried to upgrade to the paid version and the page is just stuck in loading. I got a new phone and the old entries didn’t transfer over. It’s a shame because the concept is so good I really wish it worked, I would use it all the time. Also wish you could add more than one photo to an entry.

Could be better no way to add moon phase or other options to your spells. No way to cauterize your spells.

Needs work. Would be nice to be able to add multiple pages per day and make folders for different types of magic.
Won’t Let Me Save My Email
I don’t know why, but every time I try to enter and save my email, it doesn’t do anything. It’s like the “save” button isn’t live. At this point, all I have is one entry with no backup. Also, there doesn’t seem to be much to this app at all. It would be nicer if there was some kind of structure to it beyond just opening straight into an entry. Or at least it seems like there isn’t much to this app, but maybe if it let me actually sign up, there would be more to it.

Bring back Book of Shadows
Book of Shadows has been rebranded. Instead of a dark aesthetic in landscape or portrait, I now have a pastel version that only works in portrait mode. 🙄 No settings that I can find. No way to export my information. I liked the spookier option and definitely would prefer Landscape.

Hi, thanks for your review! I will work on landscape mode and data export. It's just me, Diana, working on this app, and Neumoire is an evolution of my techniques for scientific documentation of magic, not meant to be more commercial but just accessible. I understand the different aesthetic can be jarring so I will take that into consideration too.

Good idea but
I try to write my spells and such and the thing keeps glitching nonstop and I can’t see what I’m typing!
Could be better
I love the idea of this app, but adding entries gets really annoying and frustrating if you're writing goes past where your keyboard is.
Instead of keeping the cursor visible as you're typing, it only keeps the very top of the entry visible, so anything written below the keyboard is unseen as you're typing.
You constantly have to stop typing and click on the entry to see what you've written, and if you end up wanting to edit anything at this point, it's all guess work when backspacing what you've typed!
It would also be great if you could add a title, tags and your own categories, so that you can find and categorise your entries in a way that makes sense to you.
Lastly it would also be great if you could insert pictures to help add visual references or to customise your entries even more!

This is good, but it needs updated. It also needs to remain on the App Store. This app is the easiest one I found to use for this purpose. Keep up the good work, and I hope it gets updated, and I also hope it remains on the App Store for ever.

Just a few adjustments
If it had the option to copy and Paste, and a way Change the background of different pages I would give it a higher rating. But I do love the scan text option and the ability to search

I’m a baby witch starting on their book of shadows, and while I love the aesthetic of this app and the tabs you can use to organize it, there are a couple mechanical issues.
1. The text box doesn’t scroll while typing, and even if you manually scroll, it snaps back to the top of the text box with every character.
2. The display when going into a note doesn’t take up the whole screen, and is in fact very narrow. It only displays a line or two at a time.
Once these are fixed, I will gladly give this app 5 stars!

Great except for text box issue
Love how pretty this is, and it contains most of the things I would want. A passcode would be great but is not a must-have.
Although a version fix says that the text box cutting off has been fixed, it hasn’t. Once you hit the bottom of the screen, you’re typing blind. You can scroll up to see it, but once you tap a key, it’s hidden again. Given the beauty and utility of the app, it’s worth the extra trouble.
