Bait and switch
Bug fix version upgrade, Explore stops working
Last perpetually licensed version
Bait & Switch
OK, Some Bugs and Inconsistencies
Also the replies to some posts just don’t load, even if I choose to “Load from Remote Server.” The count is correct but the replies don’t load. Toot! works, so it should work here, also.
The app doesn’t use some of the server-provided/enabled features. For example, the private notes and mute/block lists are app-only, while the server has support. This means that if I add some note to an account, I can only see it in this app. Or if I mute someone, they’re only muted here.
And of course it’s now abandonware, as the developer has a new version that has switched to being an extractive, ie rental/subscription, service. So there’s no guarantee or promise that any of these issues will be addressed. Who’s to say that the developer won’t pull the same thing again with the new version?
Abandoned Bait & Switch
promising at first, what a waste
Paywalling basic features is criminal
Mostly good
easily my favourite Mastodon client (and I’ve tried many)

Nice
Keyboard problem
Perfect
Almost perfect
Best Mastodon client hands down
The only feature I miss is the ability to emoji react on servers that support it (i.e. Pleroma). Dev, if you’re reading this, I’ll definitely send you a big tip if you can make it happen. Can provide details via email if necessary, but take a look at how Soapbox handles it, that’s basically what I have in mind.
Either way, thanks for your amazing work.
