Doesn’t work. Bought the app and stuck trying to connect. The support link goes nowhere. The music player never launches

Finally MonkeyMote supports MediaMonkey5!
This allowed me to upgrade to MM5, which I wanted to do because it supports dsf files.
But I have noticed two glitches on the part of MonkeyMote:
1. The “year” info of each tune in the tag doesn’t seem to be conveyed. It isn’t displayed in the media details popup nor in the playlist as it appeared with MM4.
2. Some, not all, album arts in dsf files don’t show. They do appear in the MediaMonkey screen on Windows so they are definitely there in the file but they don’t show up on the MonkeyMote screen on iPhone. However, they do show up for some dsf files.
I suppose these are plug-in problems, as the ios app itself is the same.
Hope they will be remedied soon!

Finally a solution
Because I'm on iOS, I can't find maby solutions for a remote to use with winamp. This is worth the $1.99 price tag if you're on iOS.
Works like 10% of the time
No idea why it's so inconsistent in connecting to my PC but it's really frustrating. Port's open, firewall allows connections on the network, MM open, and plugin's installed so I've done what I need to do, and it has connected a few times, but it gives me a generic error and won't connect 90% of the time. Not worth the time and frustration
