Delightful… as always.
When I first played MV I & II long ago I described my experience with a word I had never used when describing a mobile game: “Enchanting”.
Years later I still experience something special when I play MV III.
Some people will nitpick and complain that it doesn’t live up to the first two games, but the very nature of experience makes it almost impossible to live up to the magic that you felt on your first encounter with something so unique. It simply can’t have the impact of your first time because it won’t have the elements of surprise and newness. That is the Law of Diminishing Returns, and it can’t be avoided.
But that doesn’t mean the new experience can’t hold beauty and delights of its own.
Instead of focusing on what you think is lacking, try focusing on the new gameplay features, the new art and audio that add to the experience. They clearly put the same effort into making this game that went into the others.
The game is accessible and familiar but it’s also feels grander and more epic in certain ways.
I haven’t completed the game yet because I want to savor what I’m guessing will be the last chapter of a Monument Valley Trilogy.
In any case, it’s a true pleasure to experience the wonder and delight of Monument Valley once again.

I love this game and need more new content!
This game is truly a masterpiece in what might as well be a great trilogy that I have fully completed, now I need the rest of the extra content for this game and then I can finally finish the entire trilogy at its full. I love the work you and Ustwo made and I hope to see more!
Netflix required
I played and loved the first two games and would have happily payed for this. Such a shame the devs completely sold out. They even let the game’s title be butchered…
Holy carp and koi THIS GAME IS AWESOME
HOLY WOW this is my favorite of the MV games BY FAR. The storyline- beautiful. The interactive element that’s different from all the others- amazing. BOATEM- YES PEOPLE. Nomad- We love her. And I will go to the people that hate her and fling apricots at them. :] I really love the way Noor can move around in the Lighthouse (chapter area) and the little mini quests are so fun! Recommend for busy/stressed out people that need a chill pill- here’s the chill pill you ordered. A message to Nomad: Girl. The whole fandom loves you. You are amazing just the way you are. And what you actually look like is one of the single most beautiful things I have ever seen, right up there with certain sunrises. 👌
Your pal, Fenra
P.S. To Nomad again: I will go to the villages that cast you out and throw peaches at their houses and write “Fenra wuz here” because they couldn’t see your beauty. :]
P.P.S When is the soundtrack gonna be available to listen to on Apple Music? I WANNA LISTEN- XD

Sigh
I played and replayed the first two games, and looked forward to this episode, only to find I need to have a Netflix account, which I don’t have, need or want - such a shame
