Good but some flaw
Excellent app, probably the best on the market but they really need to improve the search function for verb. Half of the time it dont work. For example if i want to look for the verb charek m3a (share with) the app give me the first verb on top of the list instead of the verb i was looking for. It seems it’s not really there yet

Tourism, honest review
I bought the app to help me communicate during my stay in Morocco. In terms of price-performance, it’s actually quite fair. However, I was disappointed to find that many of the words and phrases I tried to pronounce weren’t recognized or understood by locals. The app often outputs incorrect or unnatural translations, which is a real pity. This definitely needs improvement.
Another issue is that the pronunciation provided doesn’t always match how people actually speak – especially since dialects in Morocco vary by region. The example sentences are also not very helpful for tourists, as they often miss the most essential phrases one would actually need in real-life situations.
In the end, I found it much more useful to simply speak with locals and write down how they say things. That was far more effective than relying on the app.

Hi and thank you for your honest review! The words in the dictionary are the Darija spoken in Marrakech, and the other main cities like Casablanca or Rabat. The region in the far north like Tangier/Tetouan does have a few variations in their vocabulary. Unfortunately, capturing the different dialects from Morocco exceeds what we can realistically achieve as a two people, although we would love if there were a comprehensive resource for this. We try to include different synonyms for the same word though, for words where a Darija word doesn't exist some prefer to use the MSA word other prefer the french word. For those looking for more touristy phrases, we created a companion app (the Know Morocco Phrasebook) that has 900+ sentences useful for travel. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will try to improve the dictionary experience as well so that it helps people like you in the future.
Best Darija app around. Period.
This app is outstanding! It has a great vocab bank with tons of important words and phrases. Further, the conjugation app (additional in app purchase) is very helpful, especially with all of the irregular verbs.

Very helpful app and easy to use.
Conjugations galore!
As any new speaker of darija knows, grammar is one of the hardest things to grasp. The recent update with conjugations for tons of regular and irregular verbs has been a huge help for studying and translating. If I had to recommend any one resource to help a newbie learn darija, it would be this.

Just downloaded the app (as a moroccan canadian needing to master darija) and it is one of the best tools currently available for learning darija and the only app/dictionnary. This is going to help so many students.
