This app needs work
If they just worked on it a little bit and made it possible to change to the exact numbers you need, it would be great. I understand that if you click on the number you can dial-in on your own but it really won’t let me.
Lock the down payment value
Like others have mentioned, having to reset this amount is a waste of time - there should be an option to lock it.

With the correct inputs I’ve been consistently able to estimate monthly payments within a $1 of my loan originator.
Easy access
Very simple but efficient for quick calculations. Don’t have to search a website or find a bookmark. Easy access and I love it

As a former mortgage banker, now without a mortgage calculator, I LOVE this app! If it had a window for showing additional payments to principal, then I’d give it 5+ stars. I’ll just recalculate, no biggie.

It is a lifesaver when dealing with mortgage scenarios!
This is one of the best lending apps I have come across…!!! ❤️ The only thing I wish (I didn’t know at the time) is if you need to customize the lending amount or the percentage rate, all you to do is just hold your finger over the amount needing to change or the interest rate needed to change and you then can enter the amounts needed… This is a straightforward, easy to use, must have app!

Needs option to add extra principle
This app would be great if there was an option to add an additional principle payment each month to see how it affects the payoff date.

Nice save scenario feature
I haven’t used some of the features others have commented on. I used it to calculate my loan payoff if I shortened the payment period. This gave me the required principal amount. Save each calculation and you can see a comparative with total interest paid too. Only day back is that loan term can only be a full year.
Note: I could set the down payment to $0 and it stayed at $0 regardless of what other reviewer had said. (In fact, all parameters could be set to zero if desired). Must have been an update. 🙂

Freeze Input Value
I would give this 5 stars if they would include an option to freeze a down payment to one number and not have it constantly adjust to a percentage of the principal. If you have 400k as down payment, you have to constantly toggle both inputs to get to payment amount.
Erratic accuracy
The sliding button system is erratic. You can’t consistently land on the number you want. Is it just mine? This is a big deal, makes the app mostly unusable, and I would think there would be more complaints.
Best loan amortization calc out there!
It is a simple and very accurate Mortgage Amortization Calculator! I would to see yearly total in the detail view similar to the desktop version. Overall happy with this calculator!
