Such a great app
Comes in handy for all types of loan applications not just mortgages. I use it to verify car loan rates and payment amounts quoted.
Great amortization calculator
I’ve had this app for years and I think it’s overall the best out there. It’s simple to use and it’s free. The only drawback is that there’s no way to include extra one time payments, monthly payments, etc.

Please let us know where we were misleading (support@dubit.net). This app is a mortgage calculator and will help you see the monthly payment and where all the money is going (interest, principal, and other).
Great but fails at one important task
First, this is a great app that does the job it advertises.
Second, this is a plain copy of the similar app designed by "SVT Software" (or something similar like that).
I don't mind the copy as the app mentioned above is still a 32 bits app version which Apple will soon kill.
BUT... even if this app does the same job, it fails, and it's where it's the most important, to format the email form well.
The mortgage table/spread sheet is designed in a way that there are no lines in the raws, which makes it impossible to print, send to a client, etc.
The numbers are just following on 30 lines, unreadable.
If the email feature is fixed, this app is definitely a 5 stars but... will it be updated one day?

We plan to update the email format in an upcoming update. Sorry you believe this is a copy. It's actually very similar and shares some of the same code as our other app called Loan Calculator - What if? that was released in November 2008.
Easy App to use
One of the simplest apps available. Really easy to use and provides clear information when considering mortgage payments.
Pointless
You can't even add an extra payment or start date. Free apps are better than this one. Very disappointed!!

We are sorry for your disappointment. We decided to keep this app focused purely on the mortgage calculation. For making extra payments and using start dates I suggest you try our other app called Loan Calculator - What If? that will calculate this extra information for you.
Useless
There is no way to change payment options (biweekly or other wise)

You are right. We only support monthly payments at the moment. We will consider biweekly or weekly in future updates.
Not functioning properly
This app seemed nice if it could work properly. The figures did change except for the monthly payment which seems to stay the same.

Great App
This app is a must have if you need to refinance your mortgage or even to just view the breakdown of your payments. It's definitely an eye opener choosing the best way to pay off your mortgage. It shows how slight changes in your payment can make significant differences! This app turns the complicated math we hate that comes along with buying a house, into something easily comprehendible!

Excellent mortgage calculator
I tried this app before refinancing my home mortgage and this mortgage calculator worked. It gives me some hints on what to do with my finances. Since I am satisfied with it I shared it with my friend who also needs to calculate her loans and other credits. This is an excellent app.

Good App
Works well for me. The only add on that I wish it had is a mortgage pre-payment calculator to go with the payment schedule portion (like: your payoff would be x months earlier, & you would save x dollars in interest if you paid an extra 100, 200 dollars ect a month to your mortgage)...all in all, a pretty good little app
