Just updated to ios17 and redownloaded the app - Discontinued - Disappointed - this could be a really amazing and useful app. Please consider revamping & updating! The Morton Arboretum itself is FIVE STARS!! Go there!!

Static old info - new version won’t even open 9/1/22
It’s too bad the App is not updated to reflect the current info shared on the website or even in the Seasons newsletter. It had nothing on the Trolls Map and does not have the new 2021 Human+Nature info. It is all very basic and not really all that helpful with any timely information.
Practically Worthless App
Don’t waste your time downloading this app. The only reason to have it used to be to use the “timed entry” function, which you can no longer do from this app. Instead, you have to log into the mortonarb.org website to get a timed-entry pass into the park. The app now simply says “Network is not available and required for this application. Please check your phone connection.”…whatever that means.
Should also point out that the “timed entry” process was put into place as part of the Covid pandemic protocol and kept in place even when the protocols elsewhere were dropped. Members shouldn’t have to do this.

Abandoned app?
This app only displays a network error even when connected to WiFi or cellular data. No information is available and the maps are virtually useless.
App Needs A lot of improvements
App doesn’t even work and says network error on both mobile data and Wifi, this started 3 days ago and still continues even when the app was reinstalled.. Map was freezing and app restarting when it was working a while ago… Membership access takes you to safari and then you need to write down all the info name, last name, email, and phone number every time.. This shouldn’t be needed if you have members information, it quite a waste of time… Hopefully you can fix these sometime..

The map was a major disappointment
I downloaded the app because it had a map. But I was disappointed with it. None of the trails/paths are labeled. I need clearly labeled trails/paths that say if they were paved or chipped or grass. Have a friend in a wheelchair and want to know where I can take her. The wheelchair can only do paved. The pdf online map has both paved and chipped trails labeled the same. Not helpful. I was hoping the map app would be more detailed but it has less info. Also when I tap one of the points of interest on the app map there’s no way of closing that info pop up.

Membership card!
I love that I don't have to hunt for my card, it's right on my phone. I'd love to see the Arboretum hours listed in the app in the next release.

I love that I don't have to remember my card, just show the app at the gate. Very helpful.
Latest versions make visits more fun
Older reviews mention problems with this app's digital membership card, but it works fine now. I love the tours, and they keep adding more. This app can't replace a trip to The Morton Arboretum itself, but it will make any visitor more informed, more adventurous, and more free from an old-fashioned paper map experience.

Nice idea
Someone says the mobile membership is nice and I agree it would be, but I can't get it to work. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. There have been times I would visit for a quick lunch or snack but I don't have my card.
The tours are a nice idea, and I like the idea of checking off the highlights I've seen.

great start for the app, good idea
They fixed the issue with the tours tab crashing, so now it's back to being a great starter app with a lot of potential. The mobile membership card is nice, and the tours are an useful feature.
Not even up to a "version 1" quality
System crashes even from some home screen options.
. No search function from most screens. This is really bad since it is so hard to navigate to find some things ( like classes). Took me 10 minutes to just find a class I was interested in.

Don't bother with this app until it gets MAJOR updates.

Membership Feature
Good Idea.. Unfortunately, membership feature doesn't work. Contacted the Arb as the app advised. Never received a call back.
