Poor performance
This device has never been dependable since I purchased it. And more frequently is off and has been off since December 24 of last year. I would not recommend you spend the money for it.
Absolutely loved it!
Motion by Mojio is amazing. It provides a bunch of features such as Vehicle Health, Driver scoring, Geofence, Disturbance alerts, Wi-Fi etc. Love the Tire scan feature. This app gives me the reassurance that my vehicle is safe and secure. 100 % recommended.
Not a substitute for VW 3G sunset vehicles
My 2017 VW Golf wagon was cut off from cell coverage when VW sunsetted 3G. It falls out of the socket. Not a defect but a design problem. It hangs down into the footwell on the drivers side and has no clip to keep it there. I kept finding it on the floor.
The unit sent a false crash signal and the service called to see if I crashed. Luckily I had my cell and could say no. I have no idea why it triggered. What more I was driving at the time.
If I had an accident or someone driving my car had an accident I am sure the unit would go flying and not report an accident.
None of the remote features in the original unit work with this add on. I would not recommend it.

Great idea that does not work
Was originally impressed by the device and the provided data. Discovered that the device goes offline every 5-8 days. Needs to be “restarted” to work again for another short time. Defeats the purpose of having the service. 3+ weeks of customer care “help” and still dead. Can’t recommend the service.

Can’t live without it
Motion by Mojio is absolutely amazing. It’s provides high value in a very simple experience. Engine issues, GPS tracking, drive scoring, business expensing, disturbance alerts, and so much more. You will be very happy having this app and having peace of mind.
