Not a happy customer
I have been trying to get Motocaddy to update my local course for around 4 months using the in-app request feature. I’ve now sent about 5 requests and still nothing has been updated or acknowledged.
What’s the point of having this feature if no action is ever taken? I paid a lot of money for this GPS trolley, but I barely use the GPS because my local course information is incorrect.

No Apple Watch functionality
One of the points of a remote trolley is you don’t have to keep it close to you. This renders the GPS on the trolley as pretty pointless. Why doesn’t the app link to the watch like other systems.
Excellent free app
Was shown this a few months ago and I use it all the time now. Opens very quickly and is very accurate (checked with Garmin watch and rangefinder). Fly Over function is terrific. Recommending it to all my mates now.
Rounds don’t save
Can’t save my rounds and CPR button has vanished??

I have a Motocaddy trolley but it’s the basic SE Lithium. So I just use the app on my iPhone which I attach to the trolley and it works wonderfully.
Good for distance but bad for keeping round history
Am not able to keep a record of my scorecards.
Now almost unusable
When I first got my trolley it used to connect straight away when I plugged it in at the golf course. Not anymore you can spend an hour trying to connect and all you get is the circle of death even though the trolley works it’s now just an electric trolley with no yardages. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled numerous times and sometimes it works once but never a second time.

More often that not it fails to connect . Frustrating .
App doesn’t live up to TROLLEY
Great to keep the score on course but if you make a mistake you cannot correct scores or fairways / greens hit post round. Pretty poor compared to every other app out there.
Hopeless
No matter what intent I cannot get me trolley to update nor can I pay the subscription for the hole view, so annoying.
Poor Service
Have requested an update on course I play for several weeks now including sending an email with pics and nothing back. It has basically rendered the GPS worthless on the trolley. Basically would have been better just going with a standard remote trolley.

My trolley S5 fails to find my iPhone, worked well for years but l think Motocaddy app update has caused problems 🤬
Terrible App
Never again will I purchase a Motocaddy GPS, the software is terrible and unable to link with the site.
Simple and effective
Functions included that are paid for in other apps.

Fails to connect
Bought a new trolley in December, was sketchy getting the phone to connect and pair. Now the app won’t connect at all, just the whirling ball. Use the app as stand alone is okay but having bought a gps model trolley I would expect it to work.
Easy to use, clear maps.
I’ve found this free version to be an excellent GPS system. It’s simple to use and visually clear.
App Bluetooth connection appalling
Connection between the App and Trolley constantly drops, and now won’t connect at all. Was intermittent until a few weeks ago; now the ability to connect has gone.
The benefits of the M5 are seemingly reduced and not worth paying the extra.

Poor App
I just bought the M5 GPS. It GREAT on the course in my experience BUT the App is rubbish. - you can’t show the entire round on one screen, not even 9 holes - it shows on the summary page Fairways hit and greenhead, but even though I entered the data, the overview per hole shows an X at every hole - Doesn’t seem to be any aggregate analysis information overtime…eg progress in the last month, this round compared to last round. Basic stuff you see in may apps I’m disappointed…. Given the success of the product itself, this software backbone needs to quickly and urgently be brought up to par (no pun intended). It wouldn’t seem to me to be an expensive upgrade as all the data is there.
I would also suggest to have a ‘cancel y/n’ step on the cart after hitting ‘Clear Round”
