Motorola products and their apps are useless. After setting up the Motorola G8725 WiF6 Router + Modem, a constant stream of issues emerged. The downstream light on the unit incessantly blinks, indicating a problem, yet all troubleshooting efforts have proven futile, making the device unreliable from the outset. Somehow our network switched to a "hidden network,” which despite numerous attempts, cannot be disabled. Attempting to utilize the scheduling features via the app has been a nightmare as it simply fails to work, defeating the purpose of having a smart router/modem combo, not to mention the interface lacks user-friendliness. The restrictive customer support hours from 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, pose a challenge, and to add insult to injury, reaching a representative for assistance during these hours has been an impossible feat. We have called, email, and messaged via social media. To cap it all, this app will just log us out with no apparent way to regain access until it just starts working days later, making the management of this router + modem combo a colossal headache. We have tried to delete the app and redownload, we have tried setting up new accounts, but nothing works. The app and the modem are useless. My son went to a smash room for his birthday and I was tempted to bring this modem.

This has to be one worst apps to control your Wi-Fi modem. App stinks , customer service stinks. Who’s I never purchased the modem.

As of March 2023, this app is obsolete. It does nothing but instruct you to download motosync app which is also useless with my MT7711!

App won’t even allow a sign in. Constant error messages. Modem works fine but without the app I’m locked out.
