ROAD TAX THAT ADMITS WHEN IT IS SHORT A car that cost over £40,000 new pays £440 a year on top of the standard rate until it is six years old, and the DVLA record does not carry the price — so Motorfile now asks, on the screen showing the figure, instead of quoting the standard rate as though it were the whole bill. Answer once and the monthly figure corrects itself. CHOOSING A CAR, WITH ALL OF THEM IN VIEW The car picker could be covered by the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, which hid the last car in a long garage. Fixed everywhere a panel slides up, not just where it was spotted. WHAT WE SAY ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY The line on the You screen counted the things that leave your phone, and a count goes out of date every time the app learns to do something new. It now says the thing that actually matters and stays true: nothing that leaves could name you. ALSO - The breakdown bar under what a car costs is drawn only when there is more than one cost to divide.
