Completely useless outdated app smh
I am NOT offline.
Why does this app tell me I’m offline when I am obviously not offline. I had cox cable come and double check. They too said there are no issues with my internet. The ONLY issue I have is THIS app saying I am offline. I have tried following the steps to reboot the gateway over and over but it does nothing. The stupid error is still there. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, still says offline. It’s a common issue according to the internet…you know, the one that claims I’m offline.
I refuse to install your plus app with all its wonderful feedback and pay aspects.
Now you’re going to kill the app that actually worked? I’ve supported Motorola for years. That stops soon.
I’ll be buying a new gateway, any brand but yours. I will not be held hostage to junk.

Bad company to invest in
Oldie but goodie doesn’t apply here. This is a classic brand but i think it’s time to take ole yeller to the back.
What a Joke
This app was completely useless. I bought the Motorola B12 modem which even recommends downloading this app. However the app does nothing. You can’t change any setting on the modem at all. You can’t even initiate a basic restart of the modem. Don’t bother with this useless app.
Terrible App
This app is abysmal! I’ve been trying to register a brand new modem/router combo for my parents for over a week at this point. Either the app says the device isn’t supported (it is, I checked the Motorola website) or the app won’t load despite my being connected to the WiFi. None of the troubleshooting steps they have work, and now the app just sits on a blank white screen. How can you expect customers to utilize an app for their home internet equipment, and then not make sure said app works? Get a new UX/UI team, this is ridiculous.

Modem says the is offline, but it working perfectly. No support over the phone, last time they updated this app was a year ago., my app is not connecting to the modem
Fast setup
I was able to have my wifi up and running in about 5 minutes of opening the box ! I love it ill be back in a few months to let you know how it went.
Horrible
Bought a Motorola MG7700 and apparently I have zero controls with this device. What a joke. What is the app for if you can’t do anything like control internet connection times for kids or anything. Ridiculous.
Works fine for residential use
After initial download, I experienced the same disappointment with the app not recognizing the new gateway (MG8702). After multiple attempts using the supplied guidance, I contacted customer service. The issue turned that our new modem serial number was not loaded into the Motorola servers. Lou, the customer service rep, fixed the issue and I connected the gateway to the app without any further issues. The app is useful for monitoring the gateway and network , seeing who/what is on the network, setting usage parameters and locking out “intruders”. The 4 stars reflect the initial app connection issue and there seems to be a very occasional slowing of communication between the app and the gateway. Overall, this app is useful for monitoring the gateway and health of our residential WiFi network.

Absolute garbage
I installed this app for a Motorola MT8733 gateway (modem/router & VoIP). It is inexcusably slow and provides no network management whatsoever. The hardware itself is flawless, but this app is trash and Motorola doesn’t even support it anymore
App stopped working
As most of the reviews state, the app was pretty good when it would actually restart the modem (which needs to be done almost everyday.) but then it randomly stopped working and now it won’t even do that. Pretty useless now. The whole things been an expensive headache unfortunately.
Awful
Failed to recognize the scan on a brand new b12 modem. The app is touted in the documentation for the device. The contact support button that came did nothing. It is useless and I am going to delete it. Hope I don’t actually need it.
No option to set up an account
App only asks for existing password, and when you try to reset same it only lets you is your email is on file . No way to start fresh m scratch’

What is this for?
For a new modem and it said to download this app. Only thing I get is it tells me the modem name but that’s it. None of the links in the app go anywhere. No point in getting it.

Does not work
I tried this app so many times. I tried using the QR code scanner. It’s said the items not recognized or the modem is not recognized. I even tried manually entering the Mac address and other information and it still doesn’t recognize my modem. I got so frustrated and angry that I just deleted the app. This is not worth my time.
