Best I’ve found

I’ve been on the hunt (ha) for games and videos for my cat Woody. There are loads of boring games but the very worst ones also interrupt the game with ads.
This one holds his attention the best by far. The free version only limits options, but doesn’t force ads.
Graphics are better than other apps we’ve looked at, and randomness of the play keeps a smart cat interested.
We had the free version for a long time and it was great. Paid version well worth it though.
I’ll be watching for another apps from this developer.

Great game. Volume goes out

My one cat goes crazy over this game but gets stressed out when there’s no volume because it goes out all the time so I have to keep restarting it and have her play it again. Is there any possible way you can fix the volume from going out? Thank you.

It's awesome and entertaining and COMPLETELY free. But... There is quite a lot of ads....... But other than that it's great! Bye

You can teach an old cat new games

My cat is 16. She is too old for nonsense and lets you know it. We have so many unappreciated toys from things I saw online. She thinks I’m ridiculous with that flapping bird.

Then I gave her the mouse game on the iPad. She’s never really interacted with the iPad, just watched some bird YouTube videos. At first it was overstimulating and the mouse going off the edge of the screen gave her like kitty anxiety because she kept trying to dig under the iPad for it. I changed it in settings to one mouse, slow, and can’t exit the screen.

Now she’s a little iPad kid. If I sit on the couch and hold my iPad in my hand she’s decided that means it time for her game. Each session only lasts a few minutes because she’s old and gets tired and overstimulated easy, but it feels like this is the most excited she’s been in a while. I love watching her expend a little more energy and play.

Good, but…

He tried to eat the phone. Don’t even ask how that went out.

FAQ

What is Mouse for Cats?

Mouse for Cats is a 2D game specifically designed to entertain cats. It features animated mice with various movements and sounds, presented in HDR graphics across 11 different levels. The game aims to keep cats engaged and playful.

What are the key features of the full version?

The full version offers features like Multi Mouse Mode for multiple cats, the ability to select favorite mouse sets, premium mice (Queeny and Robo), real mouse sounds, random level order, vibrations (on iPhone), a mouse level speed selector, and unlocks the screen permanently with no ads.

How much does Mouse for Cats cost?

The base game is free. Users can support the developers and unlock additional features, such as premium mice, multi-mouse mode, and sound effects, by making in-app purchases.

What devices is Mouse for Cats compatible with?

The description mentions compatibility with iPhones for vibration features and refers to iPad settings for multitasking gestures. It also advises checking device sound capabilities before purchasing unlocks. Users experiencing issues are asked to provide their device model and iOS version.

How can I best use this app with my cat?

To maximize engagement, avoid screen reflections, adjust brightness to lower values (10-40%), and consider disabling multitasking gestures on iPads if your cat switches apps frequently. The game is recommended for active indoor cats, and older or outdoor cats might need to be enticed when they are in a 'hunter's mood'.
