Good but needs big improvements

I like it so far but there was no improvements since i subscribed 2 years ago. We received a lot of feedback for improving it but that never came. The mobility workout are useless, there is no progression prossible, no flexibility exercises when a movement is to difficult because lack of mobility. Also, when a jump between 2 movements are impossible, micro stepd would have been great, but again, nothing. Moreover, the last ios update left the app buggy and does ´t work well since. Many month later, the problem is still not resolved.

I really love this app

I am a lifetime member and have been using this app for a few years now and still there is nothing on the market that comes even close to the level of personalization behind it.
Over the years I have done so many training programs and plans and made very little progress. TMA changed that. It gives you a structured, personalized training plan that pushes you forward every time but in a really intelligent way. I also love that every workout I can visually see how much I’m moving towards my goals.
Since starting with TMA I build lean muscles, lost weight, really improved my mobility and all the random aches and pains are gone.
I also feel really motivated to train.
I can’t recommend this program enough. Even though it had some technical issues over the years it’s still the best I could ever find.

Glitchy

Not a bad app but very glitchy still. I deleted and reinstalled twice and sometimes the workouts are only half the time for one side

Response from developer

Appreciate the honesty. The workout adjustment flow is a known pain point and it's on our roadmap. In the meantime, please send an email to hello@themovementathlete.com — our team can assist you in adjusting your workouts without a reset.

Terrible

App keeps making me redo the survey every time and zero customer support. None of the progress saves. Useless

Response from developer

Hi, we’re really sorry for this experience. The app should not ask you to redo the survey every time, and your progress should be saved. Please email us at hello@themovementathlete.com with the email linked to your account so we can check the specific error you’re getting and help fix it directly. We also apologize if support didn’t reach you sooner — we’d like to make this right.

Good concept, poor application

I paid for a 1 year subscription after reading reviews but unfortunately I’ve had nothing but issues with the app. It is very glitchy and I’ve been trying to progress but it literally gives me the same workout every day! I’ve completed this workout like 4 times now and for some reason there’s no “progression” as it advertises. This app could be amazing if it worked as advertised. But now I’m just out $150 for an app that doesn’t function as promised. I give it 2 stars only because it does have huge potential to be a great app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it for the 3rd time now so here’s hoping it works since I purchased it specifically so I didn’t have to think of what exercises to do next and the thought of it progressing at my fitness level is the whole reason I bought off on it.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share this — and we’re really sorry for the experience. We completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially after investing in a full year and expecting the app to guide and progress your training automatically. What you’re describing (repeated workouts and lack of progression) isn’t how the app is supposed to behave. We’re currently addressing the issues from the latest update, and fixes have already been released, with more improvements rolling out shortly. Please reach out to us at hello@themovementathlete.com — we’d really like to look into your account, restore proper progression, and make this right for you.
