Superbe!

Testée suite à la fin de TVTime, et directement adoptée. Design excellent, des mises à jours solides, aucun bug, minimaliste comme il faut !

Ayant testé une tonne d’applications pour répertorier mes séries et films vus j’ai vraiment eu un coup de cœur sur celle ci ! Elle est super bien faite ! Juste j’aurai aimé pouvoir mettre que j’ai vu une série ou un film plusieurs fois sans avoir besoin d’être en premium sinon vraiment j’adore 🥰

TV Time est parti et il le fallait à tout prix un remplaçant. Je suis parti sur Trakt mais les fonctionnalités et les stats n’étaient pas assez complètes. Cette application fait extrêmement bien le travail ! La seule chose qui me manque, c’est l’aspect communautaire: Donner son avis, voir les avis des autres membres, suivre mes amis et voir leur historique de visionnage + leurs notes attribuées. J’espère honnêtement retrouver tout cela dans le futur de l’application car c’est un aspect très important. Mais pour l’instant l’application est très bonne !!

Best app for cinephiles

Clean UI no confusion and best experience. Definitely worth it. Movie diary for sure

Extremely Impressive

I’ve been using Letterboxd for over a year and just discovered this app and needless to say I’m really impressed. Definitely adding this into my film log rotation. The UI is wonderful.

Feedback: if it’s already a feature ignore this but could you look into adding a “share review” feature so I can do like a share to instagram story of the movie poster, name, and my review score attached to it? I like sharing my reviews with my friends

Thanks so much for the nice review, it means a lot! 🤩 As for the feature you’re requesting, good news, it’s already in the app :) You can share ratings or even full reviews. Look for a “Share” button (the usual little square with arrow pointing up) in the top right corner of the ratings screen (works for movies, shows, and even individual seasons)

#1 Movie/Show Tracker Out There!

This app is absolutely amazing and the level of detail that went into this is incredible! 10/10

Request: It would be great to be able to see where these movies/shows are streaming, just like Apple Sports does with their games

Also, please add Sonys Bravia Core as an option for Digitally owned media source.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me a review, it means a lot! :) As or your requests, I have good news: both of these are already possible in the app (perhaps you somehow missed it?). There’s a “Where To Watch” section for both movies and shows that shows you where they’re streaming, in whatever country you pick. And for medias sources that are currently not available in our database, you can simply add it yourself (when typing “Sony Bravia Core” you will see a button that pops up to add this a media source)

Best One Out There

I’ve probably tried every film/tv tracking app available. Over the years, I’ve found some incredible options but they all seemed to be lacking features that others might have. So I never found one app that had everything I was looking for.

But Cinephile is probably the best app I’ve found. Definitely the closest to my ideal tracking app. It looks great, it has deep stats, I enjoy the customization features, great discovery page.

I also appreciate that sharing feedback and feature ideas is integrated into the app. Some of the extra features I was hoping for seem to be in the pipeline.

I’m excited to keep using Cinephile and see how it grows!

Une très très bonne application que je recommande

Cette application est juste très complète et idéale pour suivre ses films et séries. La navigation est très intuitive et l’interface Liquid Glass est extrêmement bien intégrée.
Je la recommande vivement 👍

Fantastic app! The UI is clean and looks good. App runs smooth, nice little animations. I appreciate being able to give feedback and getting direct response from the dev on feedback board. Looking forward to see how it evolves!

Disappointed

I had thought that AI in the app would detect what was being watched and that I wouldn’t have to specifically add each program that I’m watching. This is just a pain in the butt to have to remember to manually add programs. I could have done this without using this program at all. I feel like it’s a very poor value and not worth the annual $29 fee. I am going to try to cancel. Not going to renew this useless program.

This app has it all.

This is probably the most well-thought-out app I have ever used. The level of detail is outstanding. Plus, it is very user-friendly and also looks great too. I have only been using this app for a couple days now, but I had to write a review because I am so impressed.

If the maker of this app (Mario) is reading this right now, I only have one suggestion… Add a button where people can submit a movie or TV show that isn’t in the library that should be added. I just searched for a documentary that came out in 2025 and it is not there. Would love to submit that info as a suggestion to add the documentary to the library.
Forgive me if this is a feature, you already have in place and I just didn’t notice it yet.

I will also suggest this addition in the app where I saw you have provided a space for recommendations (which is a brilliant idea, by the way). Good job, Mario. You are brilliant at app development. Thank you for your hard work on Cinephile. I love it!

It means a lot! 😊 I could look into building the feature for manually add items, but frankly, the TMDB database (which is the source for Cinephile) rarely ever misses. You can submit this documentary they currently lack in the database and they’ll add it immediately (if you’re not sure how to go about it, just email me the title and I’ll pass it along to TMDB). Best One Out There

I did it- I dropped my IMDB account!!! After 10 years, I found something that beats out the competition! I was wary since IMDB import wasn’t a thing on here and my 3K+ watchlist would not be fun to manually switch over. After reaching out to the creator it wasn’t even a WEEK before IMDB import was added. The creator is super responsive and it shows that this is a passion rather than a little project. It still has room to grow- higher detail on film data and greater sorting options (like by genre or IMDB rating), but I’m not even worried about them. This app gets better with every update! I’m a die-hard for this app now.
