FAQ

What is Moxie Classic?

Moxie Classic is a word transformation game where players use a hand of letters to create and evolve words. The goal is to score points by making unique words, transforming them into other words, and spelling special "Moxie words".

How do you play Moxie Classic?

You start with a hand of 52 letters and play them "Solitaire" style. You can place a letter on the board or "Pass". Points are scored by making unique words, transforming them (e.g., TIN to TINE to TILE), and spelling bonus "Moxie words". Breaking a word chain results in a "Twaddle" and point loss.

Is Moxie Classic free to play?

Yes, the application is free to download and play. It does not feature in-app purchases or advertisements.

What devices is Moxie Classic compatible with?

The game supports HD graphics for iPad and Retina displays, suggesting compatibility with a range of Apple devices. It also includes a short tutorial video that does not require an internet connection.

What makes Moxie Classic challenging?

While easy to learn, the game is challenging to master due to its strategic depth. Knowing many words helps, but the game rewards strategic thinking more greatly, especially in transforming words and maintaining word chains.
