Play it all the time
This was one of the first puzzle games I ever downloaded 10+ years ago. I use to compete with my mom all the time.
Glad I found this again!
I had this game on my other phones, lost it when I bought a new phone and lost half my apps, and kinda forgot about it and moved on. Yesterday, I saw the word ‘moxie’ and went to the App Store and redownloaded it!! LOVE THIS GAME! It is a classy game, fun and challenging! I had Moxie 2 also, I’ll have to see if I can get that one back, too! Moxie rocks!!

A hint feature would be nice, and it would be more fun if there were more categories to pick from.
A good game, but could be better
This is a very good game indeed however, the categories are not accurate because for example, ceda is not a vegetable it is a tree. Also I would like to see more categories added to the list. I think it’s been awhile since has been updated, but I do hope that the developer does keep up as it is a very good game indeed.

An old fave
It does seem like it’s giving serial vowels often though, which isn’t conducive to making many words, since later when I need to “buy a vowel” 😉 I’ve used them all!
I too would appreciate more categories of word lists, especially after years of playing.
Someone complained their stats weren’t saved. I thought mine were. The game still prompts me to enter new records so I hope so!

Great game just wish it would play in landscape mode
Disappointed
When I first started to play moxie , it was fun and exciting. I finally got a decent score and I was thrilled, and I thought I would get better with more game play. That didn’t happen, in fact I became worse! Who ever heard of that happening!? The only reason I added this is because I really enjoy other Blue Ox games and I wanted more. I must say, this is the worst one. After having this game for barely a month l am ready to delete it and most likely will.

Cheats
I’ve been playing this for years and finely saw what I suspected; the game does not always register the points you get. Annoying, because that’s part of the fun.
Too many “Twaddle” words
Too many twaddle words that keep taking away your points. Would be more fun if you actually felt like you were winning sometimes. Always having more points taken away rather than gaining gets real old fast. This won’t be a keeper game.
Bug
Great game...but this week the letters in my game are initially white, then change to black. Small problem maybe. Just annoying.
Latest update makes this great game unplayable
I love Moxie and have been playing it for years but the latest update changed the color of the letters from black to white, making them extremely hard to see against the wood grain background. I have to believe that this is an oversight as this color change could not have been intentional. Please fix it!!
