I wish I’d looked at the reviews 😕
I’ve been enjoying the paper copy of MS for many years. In an effort to save a tree, I renewed with electronic edition. I now have received and read my last paper copy and the electronic copy still hasn’t appeared. (Although, neither has any notification that the fall issue is available so maybe I wasn’t supposed to notice.) Two or three days ago, I sent an email to the “Store” email address and as of today still have gotten no response. As other reviews have said, there is no mention of any way to get help. The Troubleshooting section of the app does not cover this problem. Guess they have my money- that will be my “donation” for this year. Way to work together for feminism gang!

Doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work. Neither does the Android version.
Negative Reviews seem Biased
The installation was flawless. With the help of the very clear step-by-step guide, I easily logged in and downloaded the latest issue to the app. The pages display with vibrant color. The link to the guide was in the digital subscription email which contained my username and password.
Can’t access the magazine
I paid for this but I cannot access the magazine. I cancelled
Poorly functioning app/no easy access to contact help
I purchased a subscription and it doesn’t recognize my subscription. So...I can get none of the editions I paid for AND I see no easy way to contact support for help. A rip off.
Great Magazine - Terrible App!
Love to read Ms Magazine but the App is temperamental an often fails to display your purchases. I live in the UK and so don't have the option of purchasing a paper copy. Improvements are needed so this app displays the editions that you have bought.
Crap App
After years of a paper subscription, I opted for a digital one to save paper. This app is terrible. I get a message that a new magazine edition is available, but it's not available via the app. This happens just about every time. Then I have to send an email, then wait for them to tell me they are working on it, and by now I could have gone to the store and just bought the magazine. What is this?? Stick with the paper subscription and save yourself a headache.

NOT WORKING
I'm paying for the app subscription and haven't been able to access once! I've sent an email to customer service , I'm disappointed and want a refund if I'm not able to use the app and I only have online subscription. TERRIBLE APP.. Very disappointing.

App is virtually UNUSABLE: Does not do justice to this excellent publication. Very disappointing & most unfortunate that they seem unconcerned & unresponsive to user feedback. Wasted opportunity to effectively reach a new audience!
I paid for this?
The app doesn't even open on my phone... But once in a blue moon when it does, it's impossible to scroll through the pages or zoom in. I will be canceling my subscription because I can't even access the magazine!
Ms magazine app
Cannot open. When emailed tech help never able to get anyone to fix it. Waste of subscription.
Needs work
I'm not assessing the magazine's content, only the app itself which isn't user friendly. For example, there's no capacity to go directly from the table of contents to an article of choice. Instead you must scroll through every page to get to the article you want to read. Extremely inconvenient.
Best of the best
Ms. Magazine has been the voice of women from the early days of he movement. It is the best source for information about feminism for everyone.
Excellent (in print)
I absolutely love to read Ms. Mag's print edition, which is exactly what this is. I really hope they fix the images used in the iPad edition, because they seem to have been pulled directly from print without any reformatting. Photos are dark, blotchy and blue-tinted.
Also, there were so many opportunities in the Winter issue to introduce interactivity in the iPad edition! Clickable rundowns of which regions have anti-abortion legislation, or a Makers trailer. I may be nitpicking but iPad and print magazine are two completely different media, and there's so much potential value being neglected here. I would be willing to pay extra for that added bit of interactive awesomeness.

I always thought Ms was for the older generation. But I love it. Try it. You'll be surprised.
