Trouble downloading films
Love the streaming service but often struggle to download films. It seems to not let me leave the app for it to fully download, and often gets stuck once any wifi drops, and I have to delete and start again.
Unauthorized charge
I signed up for the 7 day free trial, watched the movie I wanted to watch and went to cancel the subscription. I was greeted with a pop-up offering an extended trial, which I accepted. Lo and behold, the very next day my account was charged $16. Bad business and I have filed a dispute

Lovely selection of movies + clean user interface
I really like MUBI, the actual design of the app is fantastic. It looks great is smooth and very easy to navigate. I love the experience. It feels thoughtful, with the "our take" section + critic reviews for each movie, connects strongly with what you're watching. I also really appreciate subtitles with so many movies, I'm deaf so it helps me a lot.

Always a great selection of films. Some you know, others you don’t know. Great range to suit all tastes.
Terrible now
All the features have been removed and it now only allows you to use to app if you purchase a membership.
Unwatchable
I’ve tried streaming my show on three different wifi networks and two different devices. App browser etc….the playback is absolutely terrible everywhere. The playback stops every two minutes, if it even loads in the first place. I feel as though i’m trying to stream from Antarctica with the way the app buffers. Hell, i bet people in Antarctica get better serrvice. Unusable, unwatchable, i will probably cancel ny subscription. Terrible.

Great film collection, terrible interface
Great film collection, terrible interface. Looks nice, but functionally rubbish to use. No categories, you just search for a film by name or pick one from the front page. Why not have categories like every other streaming service?
The Best
Easily the best streaming service for indie and foreign films, not to mention a great selection of LGBTQ+ movies. It’s slightly pricey but there’s so much to watch on here that it makes up for it.
Movies I actually want to watch
MUBI has movies I actually want to watch. It’s easy to pick because there are so many good choices. I’ve had other streaming services for years and haven’t watched as many movies as I’m watching now with MUBI.

Intense and pretty
I have seen this movie 6 times. On the first time, I cried so much…I couldn’t help myself. On the second time, I was involved by Marcelo/ Armando’s history. On the third, I wanted to know more about Dona Sebastiana and her secrets. On the fourth time, I see that every single one of those characters have their own stories and struggles like real people. On the firth time, I felt bad that I did not pay attention to its original score and stunning cinematography. On the 6th time, I was stunned by how amazing Kleber Mendonca is as a story teller and his skills as a filmmaker. Then, I read the script and I now want to see it again. I might miss something LOL What a shame the secret agent did not win the OSCARS.

No Free Trial = No Thanks
All of your competitors offer a free trial to see if you like the service. You apparently don’t unless I am ready to sign up through some obscure link and then hand over credit card details. Not cool.

You do indeed need to enter payment information to sign up for a trial. If you don't want the trial to renew into a paid subscription, you can always cancel during the trial period. If you have any additional feedback, feel free to email it to support@mubi.com.
