MUBI has movies I actually want to watch. It’s easy to pick because there are so many good choices. I’ve had other streaming services for years and haven’t watched as many movies as I’m watching now with MUBI.

These are the kind of films I like. Something other than Netflix. Refreshing change
Intense and pretty
I have seen this movie 6 times. On the first time, I cried so much…I couldn’t help myself. On the second time, I was involved by Marcelo/ Armando’s history. On the third, I wanted to know more about Dona Sebastiana and her secrets. On the fourth time, I see that every single one of those characters have their own stories and struggles like real people. On the firth time, I felt bad that I did not pay attention to its original score and stunning cinematography. On the 6th time, I was stunned by how amazing Kleber Mendonca is as a story teller and his skills as a filmmaker. Then, I read the script and I now want to see it again. I might miss something LOL What a shame the secret agent did not win the OSCARS.

No Free Trial = No Thanks
All of your competitors offer a free trial to see if you like the service. You apparently don’t unless I am ready to sign up through some obscure link and then hand over credit card details. Not cool.

Unfortunately Sequoia Capital have invested majority cash in MUBI. The app has a terrible interface and clearly hasn’t been quality UX tested. RIP

The app keeps restarting all the time and movies don’t play continuously.
The app is very bad on both my phone and TV, the image quality is poor and movies keep stopping all the time. This didn’t used to happen.

There is a broad catalogue but hardly any movies available to watch

Best streaming service for true film lovers
Their catalogue is surprisingly deep and filled with works from all over the globe. So many classics.
App is absolute trash
The app continually freezes and buffers. I am canceling next month. I Cannot Watch a movie comfortably even using the URL. Great movies selection but pointless if you can't watch it 15 seconds before freezes. Garbage app.
Great Selection Bad Interface
I do not understand these « art house » movie streaming platforms. They have all incredible libraries but within such terrible and unintuitive interfaces. Why not doing like Netflix or Apple TV and help the user find great movies instead of being artistic about it.
Terrible streaming experience
I’ve had MUBI for years across multiple houses and isps and it is hands down the worst streamer. It took me 2.5 hrs to watch a 100 minute film due to constant buffering problems. Meanwhile every other app I have (Netflix, Crave, Prime, Dropout, YouTube) streams in 4K easily.
I unsubbed tonight because I am absolutely finished paying for such a horrible service.
Their loss, my local theatres and rental stores gain.

There’s not interesting things up there their movies that I’ve never even heard of or seen. I haven’t seen one movie that was in theaters recently or in the past.

App is barely useable
It won’t play videos or let me download videos on Wi-Fi. And when I do download it immediately says the video is expired
