Worked until I actually wanted to use it

this was all set up for a large gathering but the day of the event, printed out multiple QR code sheets started telling everyone about it but then the app kept crashing loading a playlist tried 3 different iPads and 2 different phones. Had to DJ the party myself.

Very Glitchy

App does not seem to play well with Spotify. It will randomly stop at the end of a song and refuse to play the next. Stuck in endless loop of the same song over and over again even if I close out the app and Spotify and start over.

Did you try our tips to fix the Spotify issues? You definitely need the right settings in the Spotify App to get it running. 📱 Spotify Loop Fix Guide: 1. In Your Spotify App Settings: * Open Spotify app * Go to Settings > Playback * Turn OFF the following settings: • Gapless Playback • Automix • Autoplay similar content 2. In Spotify Player: * Check the Repeat button * Make sure it's turned OFF (should not be highlighted) 3. App Updates: * Ensure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version * Check your app store for any pending updates Additional Tips: * If the issue persists after trying these steps, try closing and reopening both mubo and Spotify * Make sure both apps have the necessary permissions enabled

Perfect for summer parties!

We use Mubo connected to the speakers in our backyard when we have pool parties, and it’s amazing! I have a base “vibe” playlist, and others are able to add their own songs to the playlist however often they wish. LOVE that it integrates with Apple Music!

Blocked by Google

I really needed to use this app with YouTube. Unfortunately, when linking it to YouTube, I receive this error:

This app is blocked

This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because, hey, this could be a mixup on Google’s end. But given the amount of personal data it asks for when linking to Spotify, I’m a little skeptical of their privacy practices.

No lover seems to be working :/

Been using this app for parties for a couple of years, always worked great. Today and yesterday with this current version I’ve been having nothing but troubles. iOS and android versions are both having issues with disconnecting while changing songs. It plays the next song but then shuts down the server and disconnects everybody right after.. shame this is happening today. Hopefully the developers are able to fix it

Love this app

I’ve been looking for an app like this for years! Thanks for making it, releasing it, and making it actually work!

A feature request is to make it such that each person can pick songs in a fixed order. So if 3 people are connected the queue goes 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc.

Still, love it as is for sharing music while we’re hanging out, playing games, etc.

Closes Musicbox When Minimizing App

Why does the whole Musicbox close when I go to a different app/home screen of my phone? If I'm having a party, I want to be able to use my phone and still have music and requests loaded and going in the background. What's going on?

Hi, unfortunately we can't change this behavior. The Musicbox needs to be in the foreground while playing.

Needs remote control

The app is nice, but like most other jukeboxes, it is lacking one key feature... Remote Control.

The host/DJ needs to be able to remote control the MusicBox from another device/iPhone.

If dev could add remote control, this could easily be the best app in this category.

Garbage

Added my music from Apple playlists and everything but three songs got removed because for some reason those songs can’t be played in the app. No point in this app being in the Apple marketplace if it’s not integrated with Apple Music to allow me to use the service I already pay for. And no I’m not going to start paying for Spotify.

Works very well. Wish I had this three years ago when I created a public playlist for my daughter’s graduation party and all these kids put a bunch of junk on there. With this app you can curate your own list and just let the people upvote.

Not very usable

I can’t tell if it is by design, or just a bug. But if I exit the app then the music stops playing, which simply makes the app unusable for me.

In every other regard the app seems well built though, so it’s a shame I can’t use it.
