About

Muna is a health screening that starts with your mouth. Gum disease does not stay in the gums. It travels with the same inflammation that affects the heart and how the body handles blood sugar, which is why a dental problem is often the first visible sign of something wider. Muna is built around that link. HOW IT WORKS 1. Answer the questionnaire. Around ten minutes, mostly taps, and it saves as you go so you can stop and come back. 2. Take four guided photos of your teeth, gums and tongue. On-screen guides show you what each shot should look like. 3. Get your score. One number out of 100, plus a breakdown across five areas: oral health, cardiovascular, metabolic, wellbeing, and reproductive health where it applies. WHAT YOU GET A clear result, in plain language. Muna shows the specific answers driving your score, so you can see what is helping and what is not, rather than a number with no explanation. From there the app suggests a next step. Usually that is blood work to confirm what the questionnaire can only estimate, and the option of a short call with a clinician to talk it through. BUILDING THE HABIT A daily tip written and reviewed by clinicians. Simple challenges around brushing, flossing and the everyday things that actually move the needle. A streak that counts the days you show up. Nothing is invented: every badge maps to something you really did. You can screen again after ninety days and see what changed. YOUR RESULTS ARE YOURS Your individual results are never shared with an employer. Where Muna runs a workplace screening, the organisation receives anonymous group statistics only, and only when the group is large enough that nobody can be picked out of it. Your photos are stored privately and are never used to identify you. IMPORTANT Muna is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. It does not replace a dentist, a doctor, or any test they would run. It is designed to tell you when it is worth seeing one, and to make that conversation better informed. If you have symptoms that worry you, please see a professional. Muna Health, Inc.

What's New in Muna Health

1.0.2

October 13, 2026

A fresh new look across the app, warmer and more colourful. The Daily Round, reimagined: five quick health questions in five formats, with the answer explained every time. Earn XP, climb levels, collect achievements, and protect your days in a row with a streak freeze. Duels: challenge a colleague or a friend, up to ten at a time. Each day you both play, you see who got more right. Nothing about anyone's health is ever shown. This month's league: if your workplace uses Muna, see where you stand among colleagues and the friends you add. You can hide yourself from the league in Settings. A tip of the day, chosen for the health goal you set after your screening, and easy to share with friends on WhatsApp. Share your round, your streak or an achievement, and your friends see it in the chat before they even tap. An evening reminder at 8pm, only on days you have not played, which you can switch off in Settings. Nothing about your health ever appears on your lock screen. Your records: see your blood work results in one place, add results from any lab yourself, and see how they change over time. Care is clearer: follow each request from received to booked, withdraw one you no longer need, and add your results after your appointment. Blood work is arranged at the Muna rate, paid by you or your health insurance. Sounds and haptics for the moments that deserve them, with a switch to turn them off. Tap your photo or name on Today to open your profile. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.
