User reviews

Great but lacking serving sizes

I used a recipe that my toddler liked and I was looking for a serving size but there wasn’t one. I had to guess on how much to give them. Maybe if it could include how much to feed per age range that would be helpful.

Highly Recommend

I’ve been using MunchMind for a little over two months now, and I’ve had an amazing experience with it. One of the best things about it is that it provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas for each day of the week. This allows me to mix and match recipes for different days and times, especially on those busy days. My toddler has had the chance to try so many new foods because of the diverse recipes and different and ingredients used that wasn’t used before. I also love the grocery list feature and the different feeding types, which makes it great for babies starting solids all the way into toddlerhood. I highly recommend this app to all parents and caregivers who are starting solids or are in the depths of it. It’ll make meal time more enjoyable and less stressful, and I can’t wait to try the new recipes!

Love it, but

The app needs some fine-tuning. I love this idea because as a grandmother who frequently takes care of the grandchildren, it’s great to have fresh ideas. Ingredients are missing from the ingredient list and listed ingredients aren’t mentioned in the directions. Also, one recipe said it was dairy free but it used milk.

Highly Recommend

Munch Mind has been really helpful for taking the stress out of planning meals and organizing groceries. I like that it already creates a grocery list within the app, so I don’t have to build one myself. There are also plenty of meal options with helpful specifics for different eating needs, including gluten-free and allergy-friendly choices. Being able to swap meals around for different days and favorite meals for later use is also a great feature.

That said, there are a few things that could make the app even better. It would be useful to have a notes section for each meal so adjustments or ingredient changes can be saved. I also think the grocery list could be improved by sorting items by category (like produce, meats, pasta, etc.) for easier shopping.

Another helpful feature would be marking meals when ingredients are missing—maybe a red flag or grayed-out option—so it’s easier to track what can and can’t be made that week, while still allowing access if someone wants to make it later.

Since this is especially useful for parents, adding a way to track when a child eats meals, including whether they were breastfed or had a bottle, would be really helpful. Portion size guidance based on multiple children or babies would also be useful, along with notes about a child’s eating stage (like whether they have teeth or are still learning to chew), since that can affect what meals are appropriate.

Overall, it’s a great concept and already very helpful, but a few small additions could make it even more practical for everyday use.
