has lots of potential

app is really nice, would love a pomodoro timer or just a general timer that you could opt into to track your practice hours instead of having to manually put them in, and on top of that would be something like a stats page, where you could see how much you practiced that day, week, month, year, all time etc, and adding a streaks feature could be really motivating too, i always like seeing numbers go up!

Hey! Thank you so much for your review! I am definitely working on adding a timer for practice which will definitely make it easier to log. To address your issues about the stats page, make sure you are on the latest update and there should be a stats page on the bottom bar within the app. Thanks 😊

Doesn’t save entry

Have to close and reopen app for buttons to work. Filled out entries multiple times but save button never works. Waste of time

Hello - really sorry that you’re having a bad experience. The reason that the save buttons may not work is because you didn’t fill in all the required fields for example name, and duration. Please ensure the duration is a number that you have filled in. Not sure of the issue where you had to restart the app for anything to be clicked. I'm really sorry about the fact that you experienced difficult difficulties; please send me an email which you can find in the settings section in the app.

Super useful

I have just got the app and it’s already helped me so much! Not only have I become more organized and my practice hours per week increased. Do far overall super impressed by this product and it has been worth it!

Music Log - excellent tool to learn music with free professionals

It’s a great application helping to learn how to play music. Very easy to get professional help as much as you need from volunteer teachers.

Great app

I think that this app is great for holding yourself accountable for practicing.
It’s also great just to keep track of what you have done/will do.
With some additional features added, it could become a leading app for all musicians.

Terrific new app!

Wow, I am not usually one to write reviews for apps, but I just couldn’t sit by about this one! I was thrilled to finally find something that matches exactly what I need for my piano practice: not only is the organization stellar, but the structure also creates further motivation. I love the feature of competing with friends and the way in which my hard work from practicing becomes a ranking. On top of all this, there are even more outstanding features that really make this app the best one that I have tried out there for music practice. Direct access to music teachers real time?! How cool is that! This adds such a great level of connection in the app - if I’m ever stuck on something, I can just send a video of exactly what’s giving me trouble and then get personalized feedback. It’s awesome and so helpful. Seriously could not recommend this app enough!

This app has helped me so much! I have always struggled with keeping track of how much I practice playing the piano. Even more so, there are times where I forget to practice, but Music Log reminds me to keep a regular routine. I also love how there are different features to keep track of the time I spend playing scales and practicing my pieces. Adding friends also allows me to compete with others on who can practice more, which encourages me to play the piano! All in all, I would definitely recommend this app to anybody who struggles to find motivation to practice their instrument or needs a place to record and schedule future practice sessions. 5/5!! 🎶👍👍

Highly recommend!

If you are practicing and want to track your progress this is definitely for you; not only is it surprisingly free but the teachers resources are really helpful and surprisingly responsive. Must have for any rising musician.
