Needs microphone support
Overall, this is a decent app and I appreciate that it lets you use it for 10 minutes a day without a subscription. That said, the subscription model feels completely unnecessary—this is essentially a static app that doesn’t rely on AI, servers, or heavy syncing. I’d gladly pay a one-time fee of $10 or so instead.
My biggest gripe, aside from the subscription issue, is the lack of microphone support. It would be much more useful if you could practice with your actual instrument instead of just tapping on the screen.
Get rid of the rental nonsense and add microphone and it would be five star app.

No guitar teacher ever tells you
To play nice and smoothly in rhythm it needs to be in your bones. I came upon MRT and it changed my guitar playing forever. Finally felt comfortable with rhythm, can sing over chord playing and enjoy guitar. How did I get there? Playing with this app 5 minutes a day for a few weeks. It’s great because you can do it anywhere, anytime. Now I feel the rhythm and know I’m on beat rather hoping.

MRT is a gift to those struggling to get a handle on rhythm. It is said that those that cannot count cannot play. I was in that category for a long time just reliably hitting all the notes with poor timing. Thoroughly recommend use of this App.
Processing time is bad
The app itself is okay for rhythm training but it gives you not time to process. For example it will give you a beat: 1 2 3 4. And instead of repeating it like most conductors do, it just immediately starts.

Laggy; Need More Dots
The app is laggy on older devices, and basically unusable altogether on Bluetooth. Need more dotted notes; they should have a dedicated practice session.

Deze app bouwt het leren van ritmes op basis van notenschrift langzaam op. Hij past het tempo ook aan als een bepaald ritme lastig blijkt tot een tempo waarin het wel lukt en verhoogt het dan weer geleidelijk.
