Updates not possible on my phone.
Now I have to buy. New phone to Listen to this station. You just lost a listener!
So very, very disappointed...
The old, pre-bitrate-enhanced version of the app had its share of quirks but I had figured out how to work around virtually all of them. The only ”enhancement" offered by the new app—a higher bitrate—is beyond useless to anyone listening in a vehicle, since wind and tire noise make the nominally improved sound quality impossible to detect or appreciate, and the greatly increased bandwidth burden has rendered the cellular stream non-functional at least half of the time I try to use the app. The initial problems with Apple CarPlay have been partially addressed, but those that remain—both stuttering connections and complete halts to streaming that sometimes respond to fiddling and sometimes are impossibly to safely address while driving—are maddening.
For what it’s worth, the current app works very well with broadband WiFi, but I very seldom use it this way.

I have been listening to MVY Radio and have made donations for years. This last update that was done, has really screwed up the connection. Signal goes in and out. Most the time I can get the station to come on when I activate the app. PLEASE FIX!
I miss listening to MVY Radio because there is no other station like it.

I've supported mvyradio monetarily for years, but unless this app is fixed soon that support is going to be coming to an end.
